Thank you everyone for the responses. AOS package sent out yesterday, now we wait.....

We received an email about a week after the status changed to issued. We thought that we could go to the ASC and pick it up once they received it, but the email had instructions to schedule an appointment with them to pick it up. The first available appointment was a week after they received it. So from issued to in hand was 2 weeks.

29 days after the interview and CEAC finally changed to ISSUED.

Our visa was finally issued today. Exactly 5 weeks after the interview. Now waiting on the delivery. Good luck everyone!

My Fiance had her medical exams in Sao Paulo the end of September. The Doctors office was very helpful. She called them to ask about an appointment and they requested an email with a copy of the email from the Consulate. She sent them a copy of the packet email and received a reply within a couple of hours. The reply included an appointment date and time for later that same week. Brasiliar, Belo, Rio etc was going to be the backuup plan, but the doctor in Sao Paulo was very helpful and fast. Good Luck!

Our interview was a litlle over 3 weeks ago, K1 and K2. The status said "refused" for 3 weeks, then changed to "application received". I hope that they (K1 and K2) will be issued this week. It seams like the k1's without K2 issue fairly fast and the ones with K2 are a bit slower. Maybe they are a little slower do to the children involved. . I do know some that waited for 2 months for the visa to be issued. Good Luck!

We called the doctor in Sao Paulo to schedule the medical exams, they said that we needed to send an email. I thought the wait might be long like Rio, but they emailed back in less than an hour with an exam date of Sept 30. We then changed our interview date to October 8.

Visas are moving! Keep your heads up!

I can give you another reason. Because some countries this adds another 2 month wait for people already waiting almost two years. In some cases you can’t even find the second dose for the vaccine you have for months. Additionally the vaccines available are absolute trash and show little effect against new covid strains unless you can get an rna one which are hard to find.
 
 
In the US they could just make a thing you have to do before you adjust status. But no. More stress and pain for people who have already gone through so much showing just how little the government cares about both its current and future citizens.

i was goint to try to schedule an interview, but the acknowledgment says;
"
You may register/schedule your K visa (Fiancé(e)/Spouse/Child) appointment only after you have received instructions via letter or email from the Immigrant Visa unit to do so.
If you have not received instructions, DO NOT continue with appointment registration or scheduling. If you register/schedule an appointment without receiving instructions from the IV unit, your appointment will be cancelled on the day of your interview and you will be turned away at the Consular Section.
 
 I acknowledge that I have received instructions from IV unit to register/schedule an appointment on this website. " I did not go any further and risk getting turned away at the Consulate. Hopefully everything works out for you. 

It is the RDJxxxxxxxxxx number that was asigned by the NVC. RDJ=Rio De Janeiro, the next four number is the year, so probably 2021, the next 3 numbers is the day of the year +500, and the last three numbers is the number of the case reveived that day. As an example RDJ2021521001 would be Rio, 2021, 521=21 day of the year and 001 is the first case of the day. 

My Fiancé also has his interview scheduled for August 4. We received our NOA2 on July 7th, 2020. I believe we were the last in the recent group that got sent to the embassy RDJ.

What I've been informed, by someone who just got her case transfered to RJ and her NOA2 is from March 2020, is that NVC sent to Rio K1s which NOA2 is from March to June 2020 (That happened a week ago) and next "group" is probably gonna be July-September. And it might happen this year still. Maybe, being positive, within the next 3 months. So I assume Oct-Dec would be at the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2022? idk. Hopefully sonner for everyone. I received noa2 today!!  Noa1 24 Sept.

I believe early withdrawal of funds would incur a 10% penalty plus federal and state taxes. Liquidity is if you  requested the funds today, when would they be available for you to use. Should be able to call the manager of the fund and ask how long an early withdrawal process would take.

Sorry for posting it again so quickly, I went ahead and updated my spreadsheet to include the rest of September and spillover to October 1st.  The percentages look a bit lower because of adding nearly 700 cases to the base value.  I highlighted the cases green to represent the 7 month marker for the case, and the blue are case ranges that occur primarily on a weekend; I had observed that around 40% of cases were accepted by the time the 7 month marker hit, but its anomalous that the 68500-69500 range have a much lower acceptance rate; though it does have a lot of RFEs in the time frame. 

Average Case count per day is up to 78, mostly carried by Wednesday having over half of the volume processed at that time. Compared to the previous 2 working day stretch of around 50 cases processed per day (4/9-4/13) and the other prior time ranges estimate around 60 cases per day.  I presume that September processing is coming into full swing.
