Need Help With My Timeline

Hello. I'm not sure I'm in the right place. Our petition was sent to the NVC today after about 7 month from being notified that our application had been approved. I am trying to update our time line but when I enter today's date (2021-08-03) for "Date Package Received By NVC"  it apparently conflicts for some reason  with our NOA2 date (2021-01-13) and i receive an error message for both dates. Can someone help me please? Thanks

I think you mean it was sent from NVC to the consulate after 7 months? There’s no way it takes 7 months for a file to be sent from USCIS to NVC, at most it’s 2 months. Then it sits at NVC for a while, for a lot of couples for many months. I think that’s why it gives you an error message, because the time range is too large.

I think I'm in the same situation, need to update my timeline also,  my case arrived at NVC sometime in January and stalled, I called and was told that the embassy was not processing normally, I would get an email when it changed. I got an email today with letter to beneficiary saying nvc will now forward the petition to the Embassy. I think your  NVC received date was 1 month or so after noa2. Does anybody know is there a way to know what the date of Date package received by NVC was?

It is the RDJxxxxxxxxxx number that was asigned by the NVC. RDJ=Rio De Janeiro, the next four number is the year, so probably 2021, the next 3 numbers is the day of the year +500, and the last three numbers is the number of the case reveived that day. As an example RDJ2021521001 would be Rio, 2021, 521=21 day of the year and 001 is the first case of the day.
