Yay, today I got the notification that interview is ready to be scheduled! So I would guess that now I only have to wait and check the mail box obsessively everyday till the notice arrives 😅

Coming back to say: yesterday I had my interview and got approved! Yo-hoo :) I'll fly to the US in three weeks, hooray.

we finally got our visaaaaa after about over a month of being in administrative processing after the interview. 
 
few tips : it’s definitely not fun waiting because all you can do is see dates when they update or touch your case. 
 
also make sure all your documents are translated and bring original copies of everything.

The petitioner can start working on i134 in the meanwhile
 
Once the case gets to the embassy (every embassy is different in how they do the things) you guys can submit the DS160, setup medical exam and apply for interview. 
 
I would recommend that research your countries forum and you will find a lot of information on how they do things there.

The DS-160 expires 30 days after you start it, but that's before submission. You can start a new one at anytime and I think maybe that time resets once you edit it. Once you submit it, however, it is valid until your information changes. That said, I've seen it recommended to refresh after 60 days if needed or after 6 months. Not sure what the best answer to that is. 60 days seems unnecessary to me if there have been no changes. 
Since the *rule* is that the visa has to be issued within 4 months of USCIS approval (of course that timeline has been blown out of the water of late), my guess is this was never really a concern since most people moved from USCIS approved to NVC to embassy within 4 months. I think now that they sometimes have to extend, the advice is not to complete the DS160 in case it takes longer. But I am pretty sure it is valid for much longer than 30 days.

No good news for me today, I'm still hoping that something will change till the end of the day in the US haha, but it's bed time for me already here. Crossing fingers I'll wake up with good news, otherwise no big deal, November 9th will arrive soon enough! Congratulations to people who got the "in transit" message today! Things are moving ❤️

Just a reminder that the guide pinned to the top of this thread states: "Shipments are shipped every other Tuesday and Wednesday. Shipment status is updated throughout the day, so if yours doesn't appear, relax and have patience as many will show later in the day or the next day." And as pointed out already, there's also tomorrow!

Edit: Not to say that if yours has not changed that it won't. I suspect they change throughout the day.

Same! I got the NOA2 on september 20th (then on the letter it said that it was approved on the 18th). I then waited 22 days (I came back from a trip on October 11th, called on the 12th) and they had the case number. All went smooth, I waited around 38 minutes and then talked to a kind lady who was very polite and nice. Now waiting for the next shipment date, crossing my fingers hard. 

I can't believe I'm typing this, but I just checked and our case has been approved! NOA1 was February 3rd. I'm soooo excited!

His worker's comp is limited in duration.  It's not ongoing employment.
 
Being on worker's comp and not employed when you have your interview will affect his qualification for the I-134.

I think you are misunderstanding things.  
 
If he is not working and receiving worker's comp when you interview, he will not meet the I-134 requirements which means you will not get a K-1 visa.
