I checked my case history and yesterday they updated to “we ordered your new card” and today to case approved. 

“On July 2, 2021, we approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence. We sent you an approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice.”

Will they update to card being produced next? I haven't seen people getting an approval update, just card being produced. 😳
 
What instructions are they mentioning?

At first it says that the card is being produced, then usually next day it changes to approved… It doesn’t make sense but still lol, looks like they are producing it before actually approving your form🤷🏻‍♀️

And then it only takes couple days for you to receive it ☺️ Can’t wait to get mine in mail already  (got the tracking # finally)…doesn’t feel real until I’ll have it in my hands!)

Got the same update! My case was received on 11/30 and only on 05/28 I got the update biometrics were waived. Finally some progress!

Ok so I called USCIS today and even though my money order has not been cashed yet (according to the usps website) the agent was able to provide me with a receipt number and said my application was put into the system yesterday! So for the ones with a similar timeline even without the checks being cashed you may be able to get your case number already if you call so you can track it online 
 
Here are the dates:
Delivered 11/30
Receipt number issued: 01/13

My app was delivered on the same day as yours. I tried to call USCIS but could not get through the automated voice system. How did you get to talk to a live person over the phone without a case number? 

Do not send another application.
 
Typically it’s not normal. I751 receipt notice were sent out after 1-2 weeks USCIS receives the package. Even their website gives an official timeline of 30 days. 
But recently USCIS has been delaying in sending out I751 receipts since Oct. I suspect it’s because of the overwhelming amount of I485 by EB3 applicants. 
If your green card is expiring and you NEED it urgently, I recommend you talking to a local congressman. I know some other folks here don’t like that approach. But it is what it is. 
However, you can stay legally even if your GC expires during this process. Your employer don’t have the right to re-verify your employment eligibility, you don’t have the obligation to re-verify either. If you are in the process of changing jobs, it is tricky. That’s the situation I am in right now. 
If you post more info why you need your GC urgently, then maybe we can help you weigh in whether you are really in a hurry for the receipt notice. 

I’m always able to speak to someone, I always say: Lost receipt number.
It works every time, today my wait time was 3 minutes!

U have about 2+ more weeks of waiting ahead of you- Its unfortunate, but normal for all.
