    They explained it all today, several schools are part of the program actually and many students in their Law and Civics classes were in attendance. In fact students in those classes greeted each attendee, helped us park and walked us to where we needed to be. Chief Justice of NH Supreme court and Federal District court judge presided over the ceremony. Very well done with students playing violins and cello, chorus singing the National Anthem, etc. Got there at 8:30 AM were done by 10:30 AM and then went out to eat to celebrate with a brunch. 22 new citizens were sworn in today!

    Bedford NH FO: Filed June 16 under 3 year rule (July 14 2024 2 year GC expired.) Combo interview Sept 2. 3 questions asked and 751 and N400 approved on the spot ceremony scheduled for Sept 17th.

    Must vary by country then since I was 100% asked for proof of income and taxes etc. once the application was sent to the local consulate BEFORE any visa would be issued.

    Same here bank, medical and dental and vision, beneficiary on life insurance and 401(k) none of that requires an SSN or DL. If anyone is telling you that keep pushing.

    Based on the 6-10 posts on Reddit daily, I would lean towards just normal course of business with system issues and upgrades.

    I understand and everyone has their own risk profile I guess, I did not see omitting secondary evidence as a risk at all. IMHO.

    Same - no pictures were submitted by us as part of the K1 visa application, the conditional green card nor the ROC application we submitted in the spring. Nor letters from people. Never an issue never an RFE not one question about the lack of those things during the process.

    We included tax transcripts in our Adjustment of Status meeting to get our first green card from K-1 visa. It was available when we created the packet to be sent so we included it. Not too hard if the calendar aligns.

    Yes you will get more money in each paycheck but as others have said withholding does not equal taxes paid - your are making a lot of assumptions about tax situation and they would be owe less taxes then they withhold - which is a broad assumption based on one fact. Ideally you have enough taxes withheld to represent little to no taxes owed each tax year.
