9/30/2020 - Application sent to USCIS Chicago lockbox using USPS 10/2/2020 - Application received by USCIS 10/26/2020 - Application rejected for outdated I-485 form 10/27/2020 - Application re-sent to USCIS lockbox using Fedex 11/19/2020 - Checks cashed (+ got my receipt numbers through online chat the following day) 11/29/2020 - Received 4 text messages from USCIS with the 4 receipt numbers. 12/03/2020 - Received 4 NOAs in the mail. 05/17/2021 - Biometrics appointment 05/20/2021 - "Case ready to be scheduled for an interview" 07/26/2021 - Case approved for my I-765 and I-131 09/01/2021 - Interview in San Antonio + "New Card Is Being Produced" status right away 09/02/2021 - "Case Is Approved"

Thought I would update you on my cas.
We went for our interview on September 1st in San Antonio, our officer was definitely a tough cookie, no scary questions, just the usual, but she definitely scared us a bit, asked for my additional documents to prove our marriage, questions on birthdates and parents name + where were we born, pretty much it.
 
10 minutes later, my lawfully app updated me that "New card is being produced" for my I-485, still showing "Itw was completed and my case must be reviewed" for I-130. Next day, everything turned to "Case was approved".

Relieved that this long journey is close to being over!

I personally just got the “card sent” notification this morning and my biometrics were in may. 

Hi there october filers! Just got my I-765 and I-131 approved 5 minutes ago!! wohoooo it's about time, I hope this means my case got put on top of the pile! 

Update: I had my biometrics apt on May 17th, 2 days later my case showed "fingerprints were taken" and the following day "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview".
Now playing the "be patient" game....
Also still have to go and get my physical exam done, but at this point I'm not sure if I should go ahead and get it done, or wait to get my interview date first. What do you think?

My bad, I should have updated all of you, I finally got my notice last month and have my biometrics appointment next week

I called and asked if it made sense now to request a tier 2 agent call back since I haven't heard anything regarding my biometric apt and my dates are not far from yours, my PD is Oct 29. They put me on the list for the call back.

Looks like things are moving for everyone here. I'm totally loosing patience already. My PD if october 29th because of my initial rejected notices, but still have not heard about anything regarding my bio apt so I reached out to an agent through the online chat, who put a request for me on Feb 25th to the center in charge of my application (so I believe MSC). He said it would move things faster and I would get an update in the next 30 days, still waiting. I have a feeling my process is gonna take years...! 

I kinda re-organized the proofs and supporting documents back to where they belonged, re-added my little sticky notes on the bottom explaining where each form started and where the main documents where (mariage certificates, birth certificates and all).
Good luck, this was tough cause they had mixed everything.

Just received last night my text messages confirming my 4 different receipt numbers for my I-485, I-130, I-131, and I-765.
Now waiting for the mail version. 

I really wanted to get my receipt numbers, and only had my checks cashed yesterday, but just got them by talking on the online chat. 
I first struggled to get through and talk to someone, but found a way, so I thought I would share in case it helps someone:
I said: "Talk to an agent about my application" > selected "Green Card" > "yes" to already have a case > "don't have a receipt number" > question "inquire about my application".

To give you a bit of hope and announce my great news, I’ve been asking on the chat with live agents (through Emma) every couple days and I finally got receipt numbers today!!! 
My package was received on Oct 2nd and apparently, they sent the receipts on Nov 3rd. The charge appears on the credit card as of the 5th of November.
So give it a couple of days or ask them in the chat! 
By the way, I never got a text or email. 
I am beyond relieved, I thought they had lost my application...

Well, bad news, I got mine back yesterday, rejected because of an outdated form. So I guess that's why it took so long.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I´m freaking outtttt!!! I chatted with USCIS today because it has been a month since we filed and they told me that our case has been received and the receipt notice was mailed on 10/22/2020 (weird cause I never got any texts). Anyway, my I-20 expires in 5 days so this news brings an enormous relief.
After asking me a security question they gave me the receipt number which starts with "MSC". Does somebody know what can I do with that info?

Possible. But if that is the case I am sure you will be better off in the long run as a few days delay upfront will probably save you a month or two that we will have to face dealing with the I944 RFE. 

Seems like I'm in the last ones, though they received mine early October. Fingers crossed.
I did have my I944 included in there. Staring at my bank account all day, hoping for my money to disappear haha!

I see that many of you are posting your timeline recently and I appreciate you all doing that. This information helps us all. Speaking from my own experience, going through AOS during these trying times of global pandemic, and USCIS rule-changes by the hour, navigating the AOS process is of course extremely stressful. I had some free time today, so I decided to look back through this thread and created a spreadsheet with all the dates of various actions that we have posted so far.
