There shouldn't be a need to contact HR since he is still a LPR after June 12. https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/complete-correct-form-i-9/completing-section-3-reverification-and-rehires
    Employers should not reverify:
U.S. citizens and noncitizen nationals Lawful permanent residents who presented a Form I-551, Permanent Resident or Alien Registration Receipt card for Section 2. This includes conditional residents. List B documents

These are extremely good facts that would favor a new B2 being granted.  Make sure she has all that paperwork with her when she goes to her B2 interview.

We got like 5 tickets canceled, I even have proof that I contacted embassy in Chicago and them telling me there is nothing they can do to secure her flight back home, we will give it a shot and see what happens, im just worried they will not grant her another visa

Your mom abandoned her extension request by leaving the US.

When she applies for her new B2, she will need to explain why she overstayed and bring proof of her attempts to return home.   This will be the only opportunity to explain what happened.

Contacting the US Embassy will not help.  They will tell you they can't answer your questions.  Your mother needs to file for a B2 and present her case at her interview.

Yes everything was pretty quick, I got there as per letter 30 earlier but I went just in case little bit earlier 😅 as I was exiting the car a guy was asking people are you here for oath? We all went 40 minutes earlier, the entire process was like 20 minutes, it was about 35 people no pictures inside no nothing, I asked the lady about oath in Cc she said there is nothing she can do especially if you wait for a month, but she said if you wait more than 120 days then contact them.

Called them today. I mean  USCIS and I explained that the courts aren't scheduling any oath now or in the nearest future per covid. I was told by USCIS that I am still on the line for an oath ceremony based on the request I made last month. I was told I couldn't make another request until after 30 days after the previous one. I will call them again next Friday, when the 30 days would have elapsed. I hope your oath ceremony went well?

    Hi Everyone!
My interview was on the 31st at 1:30pm, the interview lasted less than 15 minutes, I waited for almost an hour in the waiting room before I was called, my experience was completely different to my AOS interview, the interviewing officer was a very nice person and that really helped me to feel less nervous. The questions were:
    1.- Who vetoes bills?
2.- When was the Declaration of Independence adopted?
3.- What did Susan B. Anthony do?
4.- We elect a president for how many years?
    5.- Name 3 original states.
6.- What is one reason colonists came to America?
Reading: What state has the most people?
Writing: California has the most people.
He approved my application and told me to wait for the oath ceremony letter because it could be this month, my online status still says Oath ceremony will be scheduled but I don't have a date yet, hopefully it'll be soon.

Hi, one thing I learned from all this journey is that you have to have all your documents match, so my opinion is you should change the name there for it won't be any confusion when it comes to filling. Uscis can be sometimes pain and the whole process. This is just my opinion maybe someone else has a better idea. Good luck and nek je sa srecom
