What a bummer, I got two approval notices for I-485 and I-485J (supplementary form for employment-based I-485) and a notice saying that they'll re-use my fingerprints for I-765... It looks like the actual green card doesn't get to you so quickly! Oh well...
Did you submit the 485J along with your initial package?

Hi All- I have disappeared from this forum for a bit. Just want to reconfirm that no one has yet to receive their biometrics that have filed in August 2020, regardless of field ASC location?
Completed Bio on Sep 11.

RFE would only be issued if they are going to adjudicate your I-485 without interview: https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-8-part-b-chapter-4 "Applicants may submit the Form I-693 medical examination report to USCIS: Concurrently with the immigration benefit application; or At any time after filing the immigration benefit application but before USCIS finalizes adjudication of that application. If not submitted simultaneously with the immigration benefit application, applicants may bring the medical examination report to an interview or wait until USCIS issues an RFE requesting the medical examination report."
It would be nice if they also ask me to bring the 944 along with 693 to the interview.
Not gonna happen. Lol

Not even anywhere close to getting an RFE for my I944 😃 congrats!
These are RFIEs not RFEs.
Regional benefit centers issue RFIEs and field offices issue RFEs.
Benefit centers perform an initial checklist of forms/evidences and issue RFIE before moving the case to field offices. Most likely these applicants will have to submit their RFIE response before they can receive bio-metrics notices.
In my case, I submitted without i944 and completed bio last month. I did not get a RFIE because the injunction was still in place at the time USCIS was reviewing my application.
I am expecting a RFE from field office for my i944 and i693.

Just saw the processing times updated on USCIS website. 5.5 to 7.5 months for NBC.
This was showing 27 months for last 1 month.

I guess that's why its probably moving faster compared to marriage based AOS, since with Eb1/2/3 USCIS doesn't conduct interviews. Hopefully you would getting GC soon.
Looks like it. My colleague applied for AOS on Aug 8th based on his EB1.
His Bio is scheduled for next Monday. He is based out of Seattle.

Thanks for the info. We live in Truckee, so I’m wondering if our local office will be Sac also or Reno. (My guess is Reno). The smoke is so bad today, stay safe😷
You can find your local ASC by entering your zip code here

Anyone received biometrics appointment yet?
3 hours ago, Geekosnap said:Nothing yet.
1 hour ago, Jsg2016 said:Nope. Feel like I should be getting the appt letter in the mail sometime soon.
NBC orders the bio-metrics (If required) to local ASC as soon as they send your NOA1. Then it depends on your ASC location and how busy they are.
I just finished my bio today. Literately 2 employees and 1 security at the ASC. And I was the only applicant present.
Feels like they are limiting the number of appointments due to covid. Oh yeah, there is also severe air quality issue today where I live.
My filing date was Aug 5th

Sorry about that. It is. It doesn’t say anything under your name, but once I click the “timeline” button it is visible, thanks ! You got your appointment fast, that’s awesome.
@Sarge2155 How do I add my timeline automatically to the footer of all my posts? It makes it easier for people to read rather than clicking on my timeline.

Can you please check the "Notice date" mentioned on the NOA/I-797 (should be in upper section right side)? My timeline is almost same as yours. Just waiting for the bio. appointment.
My notice date is: Aug 17, 2020 but received mail on Aug 26th
I am not at home right now. But if I remember correctly, the notice date on Bio was 24th and I received it on 28th.

Is your NOA date in your timeline your PD date or the date you received your mail or Is it notice date mention on I-797?
The date I received my physical copies of receipt notices.

There's been at least one in the July thread! @Justin & Sara applied without 944, right?
1 hour ago, Cilllah said:I am hoping that this is the case too - disconnect between the people who answer the phones and the people on the ground so to speak. It is confusing for everyone so I am hoping they got it wrong and logically you can't expect to receive a form that you aren't supplying but alas this is USCIS and they could do just that. I just want to see someone who applied after the rule was overturned get their check cashed without the inclusion of the form - I don't think there has been one yet?
I have got NOAs and Bio notices. Submitted in August without i944.
Oh yea, I called USCIS and spoke to two different agents before submitting. One said to submit the 944 and the other one said not to.

Congratulations! I know it is way too early for me to expect it but I am hoping that I hear something soon!
Looking at the trend "including myself", you will get them in 14 calendar days.(the SMS/E-mail) atleast.

Great! Did you apply for I-140 or you had that approved? Which town are you currently? This might explain the "fast" biometrics appointment.
I am on the same boat. Attorneys sent my applications (I-485, I-131 and I-765) on 19th of August 2020. I had an approved I-140 early January 2020 for EB2 category. I am hoping to get notice back in 2-3 weeks from now and the sooner the biometrics appointment. I am in Seattle WA which seems fair and not that busy for biometrics (compared to NY or San Francisco for instance).
Btw let's hope our I-765 (EAD) will be approved in reasonable time and not in 28+ months that USCIS web-site indicates
Please check my timeline

May I ask which service center did your application "land"? Did you file con-currently or non-concurrently (I see you are on L1 visa)

Hi,
I filed 130 & 485 for my wife on August 8th to Chicago lockbox and was wondering what the current normal wait time is until checks are cashed and notice is issued.
Could not find recent threads about this.
This would help me put my wife at ease, as we wait. Thank you in advance!
Thank you.
