Hello guys! We mailed out our i-751 form on 02/18/2023 to the USCIS Lockbox in Phoenix. We received NOA 1 (48 months extension letter) in the mail today 02/27/2023 dated 02/22/2023 and our case will be handled by the California Service Center. Good luck to us all.

Here is a quick update from us.

Our AOS Interview was on Wednesday, May 19th, 2021. Today May 27th, 2021 my wifey’s 2 year green card arrived in the mail via USPS priority mail. It was sent out on Tuesday, May 25th, 2021 so it took about 8 days from approval right after interview to green card on hand. I hope the rest of you get their green cards soon as well :D

5/27/2021 - DFW - Had our interview today,
lots of people where there, they didn't care if you were on the phones if you're waiting, no signs there stating otherwise.
We saw some people come out and had issues, one guy was really strict. Lots of people had lawyers there, we didn't.
Their was about 10+ people doing the interviews. We honestly didn't wait long and they went fast. There was about 50 people waiting.
Our agent we got was a nice female. She asked the basics, How did you meet, do we have a job and she asked for evidence, we gave her all our credit card statements, joint checking, joint titles, joint bills and about 100 pictures.  In the end she only kept 1/10 of the items. She didn't ask for W2 or Tax stuff. She did go on to confirmed everything was correct on the I485. She couldn't given an answer and just stated everything looks good. 2 hours later , status got changed to new card being produced. Good Luck Everyone.

    Hi Visa journey,

We had our interview yesterday May 19th, 2021 at the San Bernardino, CA USCIS office.

The Interview was short and for the most part painless since we submitted a lot of information regarding our bona fide relationship with the original application and took much more to the interview itself. My wife did get asked about her travel history and the adjudication officer at first was telling us that she was only supposed to have used her Advance parole for an emergency only and not for leasure travel , but since I told her that the combo card was applied for to be used for multiple entries and after showing the adjudication officer a copy of the i-131 showing that we had applied for multiple entries and we did not list any emergency on the form, the officer said that we were ok. Not sure if she was testing us. The officer did not approve us on the spot but only hinted us that it was going to be approved citing that the file needed one last review before a decision could be made. Our status changed online about 4 hours hours from exiting our interview from “Interview Scheduled” to “New Card Being Produced”. Then today on 5-20-2021 it changed again to “Case Approved”. Good luck to the rest of you. We will let you know once we have her 2 year CF1 Green card on hand.

We had our interview today. We waited for about 30-45 minutes, but the actual interview itself was about 10 minutes. It was very quick! We had 4 files stuffed to the gills with us and all he wanted was our birth certificate, marriage certificate and 2020 taxes. I asked if he needed anything else, but he wasn't interested. Good to be prepared though. He told us that because we'd already gone through the K1 process there wasn't any need for an intensive interview. He implied those that skipped the K1 are scrutinized more. He told us our interview was more of a formality if anything. Needless to say, he approved us on the spot.

Got home and status updated to new card being produced!

Good luck to anyone going to theirs soon! 🥰

Hi there! The designated USCIS field office for the wifey’s AOS is in San Bernardino, CA and we received the following alert yesterday 4-13-2021 morning around 10am PST (see attached image):

We hope to receive the actual interview letter in the next few business days to find out the exact date of our interview. It looks like interviews are slowly being assigned.
    Good luck to all!

Got our letter today! Interview is schedule exactly a month from now. May 12th.

We are excited but a bit nervous. Because of the pandemic we haven't really gone out at all in the last year. He was looking for remote work for awhile, but no luck, so decided to finish his degree online while we wait. We haven't had a chance to open a joint bank account at my banks because he didn't have his green card or California ID (since we would have to go in person to DMV for that). So we are a bit handicapped by that. We filed our taxes jointly though, and I have him as an authorized user on my CC. Hopefully it will go alright.

Heres to wishing all our fellow Californians get something soon!

We received my husband's EAD/AP combo card in the mail yesterday! The AP status only changed from "Case Received" to "Case Was Approved" one day before we received the actual card in the mail.

For reference, his biometrics appointment was August 28 in Houston. The case was approved on September 10, and then six days later we had the card in hand. The AOS is still "Case is Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview".  Making progress!

Got my EAD in the mail yesterday! No tracking number or anything. Status stayed as "Card Was Mailed To Me" for about a week and then it just appeared in my letterbox by Priority Mail (no signature needed).
It was a combo card and Advance parole status still as Case Was Approved.

We have received my wifey’s EAD/AP COMBO Card today 09/15/2020 in the mail (via USPS Priority mail). Please note guys that my case status online stayed at “Card was mailed to me” but it never changed to “Card was picked up by US Postal Service” and thus I never had a tracking number for it. We live here in Southern California and the card was mailed out on Friday, September 11th, 2020 and got here today Tuesday, September 15th, 2020. I confirm again that this is indeed a COMBO CARD and it has a 1 year validity. Thus the card displays the following dates:

Valid from: 9/08/20 (This is the same date that the card showed online that it went into production)

Card Expires: 09/07/2021 (Let’s hope that we have her green card by then).

Good luck to all of you and we hope and pray that all of you get yours soon as well!

Ps. We had some drama with the post office people but that is a whole another story. The card showed delivered at 3:46pm Today online through the “Informed Delivery” App But when I arrived home from work at 5:05pm to check our mail the card wasn’t there. My local post office was closed but I still saw people in there so I banged on the door until finally some lady was kind enough to come out and talk to me after hours (bless her heart). So she was able to get a hold of the postal clerk delivering to our apartment complex and even though the item showed as delivered it had not been delivered yet. So she asked me to come back home and to leave our phone number. Well luckily about an hour later at 6:25pm we got a phone call from the local post office asking us to go and check our mail since he assured me that the card was indeed delivered. And yes to our relief, it waaaaas 😅. So the moral of this story is to always keep on top of the US Postal service because indeed they can also screw up BIGTIME and do not give up until you have your card on hand. Imagine going through months of a painful and lengthy process (even more so with Covid) to have USPS screw up right before the finish line. I can’t believe that they marked it as delivered even though it wasn’t. Shame on them.
