2 months has been the average

    according to their website:

As of 6-JUL-2020, we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 4-APR-2020. Please note, as result of April 22, 2020 Presidential Proclamation, we are reviewing documents for cases not subject to the travel restrictions first.

Does it mean they’re now reviewing documents submitted for the first time, or for DQs also?

    SO EXCITED!

Wifey was approved in MNL on a surprise Expedited Appointment for her CR-1 today.

Counsul told her FOUR weeks until delivery (possibly due to COVID,) but I'm sure we'll see it sooner than that.

    SUPER STOKED!

My sincerest congratulations to you and your wife!!! This is just amazing.

Please tell, how to get the expedited interview? Also, in which country did she go for the interview?

Yes, they are doing Emergency visas in case of a emergency. But its showing I would guess expedited IR1 and CR1. I think this website will be a great asset in looking at numbers for June because on June 12th the State Department made the decision to make the exempted visas "mission critical" so it would just be interesting to see how many consulates listened to this and started doing them. Because I'm assuming in July they will post June's.

That’s the whole point! CR1/IR1 are MISSION CRITICAL right now!

No consulates are doing normal processing, certainly not Moscow.  The ones that are doing processing are clearing interviews for cancelled appointments that have completed medical.

A very reliable acquaintance of mine told, that there’s a possibility after July 15th for US Consulate in Moscow to open up.

But still, I think you just do not see the point of what I’m saying. Consulates might be closed, but still work on conducting interviews for certain types of visas INDIVIDUALLY.

The month that a visa is issued in is not always the month that the interview is in.  Also with covid some visa were issued but not delivered to the beneficiary.   Cases that a 221(g) was issued and then documents returned  and vetted are a good example of the delay as is cases in AP that clear background.

But yes some consulates did have emergency appointments, and even Mexico in aggregate managed to do 20,000 h2b visas last month most of which a occured in Monterey.

You absolutely cannot compare H2B visas with FAMILY-BASED.

More often now I’m hearing from different people, that their interviews are actually being scheduled, since Consulates are working now specifically with family-based only. Other types of visas right now were prohibited by the President of America.

OMG you know you've just stumbled upon a gold mine right?

This tells everyone month by month what consulates and embassy's and what visas are being issued if you select "IV Issuance's by Post and Visa Class".

I suggest making your own post in the Covid-19 telling everyone this news. You found this you should get the credit.

There is actually no Moscow at all lol.

This is true :) Bless yours and @sbarbie1914 Hearts for easing my anxiety, yall are sweethearts.

I understand you perfectly. During this whole immigration process I’ve came through hell. Literally, this endless waiting game without any light in a tunnel destroyed my inner-self completely.
But I believe and know, that everything will finish soon and all of us will finally be with our beloved spouses. Through hardships to the Stars. 😊

This website takes you to immigrant visas.  May 2020 is available.  I think the visa categories are more specific.

If to believe this information, then even during the Coronavirus Pandemic, CR1/IR1 spousal visas are still being issued unstoppably.

Can you please explain what is the difference between those two types of categories for each month?? Thanks so much.

OMG is this right? Was there only 23 "Family Preference Category" Visas issued last year? Can someone smarter than me look at it? If so it gives me hope that we wont have to wait so long like @Daria Parkinson said.

Edited to add: Never mind I think I found the right table instead for Spouses, just for IR1 last year was 64

Still, it is surely not such a big number. 😊
