Went for my interview today and my spouse was with me in waiting area. It wasn’t a combo interview, the officer just did citizenship interview. She only asked if it was my husband in waiting area when going thru details on my application.
 
all passed. Oath scheduled for April 3.

Congratulations! My oath is scheduled for April 3 too. Glad that it seems like your husband was allowed in the waiting room. Mine was not, but my interview was very brief and my husband was aghast at having paid the extortionate fee for 2-hr parking in Downtown San Diego when I didn't even take that long. 😂

Mine was technically not a combo interview because my 751 had been approved about 45 days prior to my N400 interview. However, my husband went with me just in case, and the officer did want to see him (he asked only 2 questions: his marital status and my DOB). 
Tbh, it's only just a few hours your spouse will have to take off work. I would ask them to come with me and be done with the process.

Hey, anyone here applying for naturalization based in 3 year rule? All I can find is based in 5 year rule. I’m interested to know how different the timelines are. Thank you! 

Congrats!! Did you take written test?

I've heard reports of people saying "I have pending I-751" and that opened the doors for US citizen spouse. For I-751 your spouse may get invited in the room with you to get few questions about marriage answered. For N-400, they're either going to be with you (I heard of such instances) or would wait in the same room where you'd wait for your I-751/N-400.
 
 

Thank you! Only one part was written. They asked me "who was the first president" and I had to write down the answer on a little tablet. All other questions were verbal, I didn't have to write anything down.

Had the interview this morning. I waited about an hour for my interview but otherwise it went smoothly and I got approved. My oath ceremony was immediately scheduled on February 29th.

Lawyer mailed packet on 11/28/23 which was the first day I qualified on a 90 Early Day Filing rule on 5 years only option. 
 
12/1/23: USCIS received.
12/6/23: Being reviewed.
2/7/23: Interview scheduled.
3/21/24: Interview date.

I am at kansas, FO. Got my interview scheduled for 29th Feb. Applied on August 15th, 2023. Interview was Scheduled on 10th Jan 2024.

For the interview, does anyone know if I need to take any documents to show there are no outstanding taxes? Also, do I need to take both federal and state tax returns?
