Anyone still waiting on an EAD more than a couple months after biometrics? Our PD date is 04/14, biometrics for EAD and AOS on 10/26 (had to talk to tier 2 to get it scheduled in the first place). No biometrics for I-131, yet. Our current case status says "fingerprints applied to case" for both the EAD and AOS, but it has been 228 days since filing and 78 days since bio! I feel like we are the only ones in this boat! Put in second service request and haven't heard anything, but just keep getting told to wait for 30 days for a response.

FINALLY got biometrics scheduled after some nagging! Called USCIS this morning and asked to speak to a tier 2 rep. They called back this afternoon. Told the guy we were worried we had missed our appointment letter since it was so close to the 90 day mark. He said nothing had been scheduled but he could do it right now - put on hold for a minute, then he came back to say October 26th was the earliest date available and scheduled it! Said the letter will follow in the mail and if it isn't received soon to call again and they can email the appointment PDF.

What a difference a week makes! Can’t believe you’re all set already. Congrats! Still over here waiting for biometrics.

I just like to keep up-to-date on all the worst case scenarios and things that could go wrong. We got our k-1 approval in like 3 months which was so fast and easy, then everything from that point on has been delayed to the last possible moment. I’d be surprised if I received anything earlier than just “days before the latest possible moment.” Anyway, keep me posted if you hear something and good luck!

Same. I understand it relies mostly on the backlog at specific ASCs, which was fine for me to use as justification when I saw no progress from the Seattle office. I’m wondering if the PD date printed or the actual date the NOA was received matters? It took almost a month to receive my NOA after filing (another wait much longer than others) but the PD date printed on my receipt is 4/14. I also just moved to a new place, just down the road in the same city, but still also concerned I’ll miss something with all the mail forwarding. I usually contact Uscis weekly now to check but last time they were basically like, I see you’ve already asked about this several times, nothing has changed, you were already told to wait 90 days, etc.

I’ve talked to one Seattle filer with a PD 3/25, and seen another with a PD of 4/7, both have had biometrics and received combo cards this week. My PD is 4/14 and nothing.

Hi! Also Seattle filer. Received date on my NOA is April 14th. I was chatting with another Seattle filer around the same time but nothing for either of us. I have heard our office is slow and was originally told by uscis I could reach out 30 days after the ASC reopened (will be August 13th), but yesterday a different representative told me 90 days after reopening.

Congrats! Your location says Seattle? Mine is as well, but the Seattle ASC reopened July 13th. According to your timeline you filed April 14th? Same date for me but no news yet!

I talked to someone at USCIS today and she said they’ve started rescheduling biometrics as of July 13th. I asked if there was a timeframe within which I should expect an appointment and she said 30 days, so sometime mid-August. Of course this may or may not have been just said for the sake of saying something.

Just checked my credit card and I see the AOS Chicago lockbox charge finally! I hope we get the NOA1 soon so we can send off the I-131.

And I can’t wait for like 5+ years from now when my husband can get his citizenship and I no longer talk in acronyms 😂

Our NOA receipt texts were just received after 29 days! Money still in my account but I assume it will be taken tomorrow.

Mine was delivered to Chicago on April 14th and still no word for me either. I’ll give 4 weeks / 30 days until I call since I know they’ll tell me to do that anyway. On Monday I emailed the lockbox to check in since I was told it can take 2 weeks for a response from them. There’s another thread of people with similar timelines and it seems most still haven’t heard. Though on the other hand, many have waited less so who knows! Good luck - keep us posted!

I just listed our identifying information (name, phone number, address, date package was delivered) and told them that I spoke with a rep by phone who advised me to reach out. Will keep the thread posted if/when I hear back!
