  1. Hi, i already read 2-3 threads about how to open the ceac messages on our account, i know it sounds ridiculous but whenever i click them there is this grey box and nothing else after that.

Even if i wait for a few minutes nothing will appear, kept clicking on the message to 'refresh' the message but nothing.
    anyone an idea?
    the subject of it states

all required applicant documents have been received and approved

I have another question regarding the I-864Z.

I'm trying to add some information but the form is not allowing me to edit some fields. For example this one - I checked "I am currently employed" but I'm not being able to add the rest of the information, only the current individual annual income:

Do you know what should I do in order to edit and add the required information?

My husband had it filled out as much as he was allowed to and had it printed then out, filled out the rest per hand, scanned It and uploaded it.

I think mine is also in texas. so for the second packer you can also do everything online?

Yes, there are things of evidence which you need to upload and things you can upload and if  something is missing they can notify you via email and you just upload it to this website.

If you have your NOA1 which you got by mail you can see it on the bottom to which center it got mailed to.
we didnt know for a long time lol.

  4. What exactly do you need for this form ? Like do I need paystubs and tax returns from my country if I have filed them? I am also super lost with this form and what to provide as evidence with it and was about to ask here anyway.

it confuses me because it all asks about things I don’t have.
i had a regular income after I came back from the US in where I also paid taxes (1040nr ez?) 2017 and 18 but I have no transcripts of it and before I got laid off because of Covid.

    sorry for bursting in

It asks for the supervisors name during the time of employment at any given company. My wife called a former employer from 9 years ago and asked for the supervisor's name; they were fairly rude to her and didn't give her a name whatsoever. Is this field necessary to be filled? I thought that perhaps putting the company president's name would suffice. Thoughts?

I think you also can just cross off the Box right next to it where it says i Dont know or something like that. I just finished my ds260 , but since i only worked in Small companies with only one boss i put in my boss' name

Your current employment status will have no effect on your visa.  Accuracy is important

Thats what i was worried about!
    But good to know thanks.

so i have to make sure that there is no or mostly no blank between the history from High School - my recent employment.

Should I bring my new contract of employment to the interview then?

  7. Im currently filing my DS 260 ( NVC , CR1 ) and I got laid off but will be re employed by June / July.

Should I type in Unemployed and then provide my entire history since high school or should I type in present occupation and my  " current employer ".

please ask if you need more information.

already posted in nvc filers, no answer yet, so hope some can help here 😊

There are many very knowledgeable people here, I don't use any other immigrations forum since I found this :) Just always keep in mind that most experiences are individual and every case is different (I guess what I'm trying to say is don't panic when you read about a bad experience, because you might experience quite the opposite at a similar stage).

If you're at NVC stage, join us here (and a May group will likely surface tomorrow)

yes, already at nvc stage for about a week now.

    Thank you, really

I completely understand trust me. That is why we are here to help and there is even a German part of VJ for people. So you are not alone.

i was already looking under country specific threads and posts but there are only a few and some of them are my own, lol.
i mean i just started and still have to learn alot of things here but i am also afraid to ask too much and get things back like, - there is already something online here -

but i am just not in the mood to read through a bunch of posts, you know.

No pity party, most of us don't use attorney's (and many actually have experiences with attorneys giving bad advise). Join the NVC April filer group and read about other experiences. We're all doing it on our own, and if you know where to look, DOS and USCIS actually provide accurate and helpful guides :) You can do this!

you are awesome! only took me a bunch of posts here to find the answers i was looking for , lol!

i will do, thank you lots 🥰

There are only a couple people on that sub that I would actually listen to because the vast majority of them have no idea and/or just say that you need to see a attorney.

i cant even afford an attorney.
thats why it is so hard and painful to go through at this stage of petition.

not only because i am the only one who has to file for all of these things now, and gather all the infinite and required documents they want and need but its also in english and nobody in my circle i know, knows what i am talking about, let alone my husband in the US.

  12. hi,

i was an Aupair for almost two years in the states and just read through the nvc page, category:  required civil documents.

i might need a police clearance letter from the states but where do i get one of these?

Maybe there is someone from Germany here which had gone through the same and could help me out or knows about this ?

i was texting the consulate but they literally just sent me a document with the exact same answer as on the nvc page.

Please ask for any further information, of which state etc. i dont know if that is needed!

also i am about to send a form which is called J Visa Advisory Opinion Application to see if i am eligible for the 212(e) - Subject to the two year residence requirement.

    Anyone experience with it?

    Danke 😊

    Liebe Grüße, Bino.

Document translation requirements are embassy/consulate specific.  It does say documents in the official language of the country where the interview is taking place don't need to be translated; however, that is not universal.  You need a Germany specific answer on this issue.

Sorry, just have so many questions in my head.

well one messages me (a german citizen) and told me that she isnt going to translate them because she will have her visa here in germany as well and that it wont be mandatory to translate them then.

    Still torn

    1. That’s fine if you think it’s helpful.

    2. Answer depends on what month you returned back to Germany. If it hasn’t been two years, then you would say Yes

    1. but can i submit them somewhere or do i have to bring them to the interview in germany?

    2. i came back january 3rd 2019 - but both in my visa and my ds 2019 it says i am not subject to the residence requirement.

i was reading through a lot of threads here and there was one discussion with the same problem a few years ago and they went on saying it doesnt hurt anything in the further process and also that they have checked NO by that question with exchange visitor in the ds 260 form.

so now you can imagine me sitting here trying to find answers
