If USCIS sends out an RFE and its returned from the petitioner and the IO has not revisited the cases to complete adjudication, then it shows as "unchecked".  They could have 11 come back from the petitioner, 15 touched and moved on and show 54 still unchecked. You don't see process, so you make a negative comment as though they are not working. They are human just like you and me. It doesn't mean they are not working or working backwards.  I am not looking for an argument. I have heard all the "sob" stories in my six years here. Take a break. Stop looking and when it shows up - be happy and move on within the process to your next steps.

Its just math . If the numbers don't decrease  over time, relatively nothing is being done. When nothing is getting done yes I will speak my mind.

Are you getting any progress with the ombudsman? I hope we bothget our NOA2 soon. I wonder how many march filers are still waiting. It feels as if most got a response already outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

The CSC processing times for the Form I-129F with a receipt date of March 03, 2020 or earlier. The processing of your Form I-129F is within our current processing time.

No no progress yet. USCIS did call me today for some odd reason I think because of a direct letter I sent in 2 weeks ago. The representative said to keep waiting. I said its been 9 months 5 days what can be done. Just keep waiting

    Hello everyone,

My Fiancé and I have been following this thread for a while now but decided to post today hoping to get an informed opinion on what is happening to our case. Our NOA1 date is March 27, 2020 but we have not yet received a response from USCIS. I sent a case inquiry last 10/24/2020 but their response was the CSC processing times for 129F is March 3rd or earlier. The processing is within our current processing time. However, i checked USCIS and on 10/24 i thought I saw march 27 filers and earlier can submit a case inquiry already. I tried to submit a new inquiry a week after but i was not allowed until 30 days after the last inquiry or December 6. Fast forward to today and the past days, We are seeing march filers and even some april filers getting approved. We dont know why our case has not received a response yet. I was born in the Philippines and my Fiancé and I grew up in the same City. We feel like our application shows strong evidence of a legitimate relationship. I am a US citizen and submitted the applicable documents to show it. What could possibly be the reason for us not getting a response yet while others in a similar situation have gotten a response already? can this just drag on and we dont get a response? I am planning on calling USCIS tomorrow to ask status on our case. Does anyone here have experience in calling USCIS? What are the chances we will receive a response on our case soon? I am looking forward to any advice we can get. I am hoping we can get our approval soon.

your Form I-129F to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

The CSC processing times for the Form I-129F with a receipt date of March 03, 2020 or earlier. The processing of your Form I-129F is within our current processing time.

Everything is dependent upon USCIS . When they decide to do it they will. Until then they won't. We're thousands of cases before you and we haven't heard a thing either.  9 months and still every time we call USCIS its a waste. Sorry this sounds negative its just reality.

Second try your U.S. representative's contact information can be found in this handy directory, and your U.S. senator's information is in this one.

If you receive a response and it contains anyone of these sentences this will be the meaning of that phrase.

If the CSC response is due to a congressional case worker inquiry, the service center will say "security checks"

If the CSC response is from a regular service inquiry from their website, the service center will say "adjudication"

Yeah its just tiring. Option 1 we did. Option 2 is something we haven't approached. We will give it a try.  We do appreciate the info thank you Greenbaum

  5. Response to [ INQUIRY #2] today:

"Thank you for your inquiry. We recognize your interest in the final adjudication of your pending application/petition and are aware of the difficulties caused by any delay in processing. We regret we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will be able to review your case but the California Service Center is committed to processing this workload."-uscis

9 months w/multiple inquires and now they don't want to even give a timeframe.

Hey guys just wanted to post a quick update. My NOA1 was March 5, and today was my visa interview at the US embassy Abu Dhabi, UAE. And we got approved!! The Abu Dhabi embassy has resumed interviews for K1. I hope all of your cases move along really quickly as well! Hang in there, the backlogs with the embassies arent as bad as they seem now, once you get through the USCIS approval. Good luck everyone! ❤️

Wow ! What a blessing you are very fortunate!

Good day, Filers - Here is the latest update on March cases. Despite there being a holiday this week, we still saw 234 approvals.

There are 185 outstanding RFEs (which is 35 more than last week) and I'm not sure if it's a mistake in the data... but 2 new rejections. I'll check that again next week to be sure.

That's now a total of 1482 March approvals now, with 2475 applications still waiting for a final yes/no. It's getting close to 1,000 March approvals a month now, so we should see March come to a near close around February/March time.

(as always, please delete the photo from responses)

Have a great weekend. (and stay strong for those of us still waiting)

Thanks so much for the data. Trying to stay positive. Good to see some movement!

We did our 1st inquiry on 16th Oct and got reply (they told to expect a response by 7th Nov). We got another mail from them on 27th Oct stating that our case is being adjudicated right now. And nothing after that till today. Now can we do 2nd inquiry after 16th Nov or need to wait till 27th Nov?

We too wish you loads of good luck. Hope you get approval soon. 🤗

@Talita_Travis we are also now 240 days and still counting. How do you know when can inquiry 2 be sent by us? Are there any specific conditions under which we can do that? I am wondering how long is it going to be before we get to hear at least something from USCIS 😑🥺

30 days after the uscis response from inquiry #1 you can do a second inquiry. Best of luck to you

    Hello filers...

Momentum slowed a little this week, but lets put that down to it being Presidential Election week!

There were still 245 approvals, which is actually pretty cool, and 150 outstanding RFEs.

As you can see, filers from the 23rd/24th will start to hear back soon... though there are still people who haven't heard from the start of the month. (163 from March week 1 still need checking).

Hang in there, though. News will come!

(Please remember to remove the picture if you reply to this)

Thanks for all the info, super helpful as always.

Goose egg not checking any more from our date march 3.Unreal. But great to see some movement for middle of the month

  11. Its almost a month since our inquiry,  233 days waiting Mar 3rd noa1. USCIS says 5-7 months processing times and if pass you can do an inquiry. I get every case is different and all that but you would think priority goes to those waiting by case number. Were thousands and thousands of cases ahead of some being looked at.

Side note-Ecstatic for all those  approvals recently, congrats!

@Nishris atleast your response has specific days listed the response for my inquiry is below. They told me "shortly "😔 lol Has anyone actually gotten an approval or movement on their case after submitting an inquiry?

    Screenshot_20201015-220327_Gmail.jpg

Interesting. We got an email back from a case inquiry from Oct 1. It says you should receive a notice of action "in due course" . .

So after 7 and a half months and case inquiry the answer is  it will come in due course.

  13. 8 hours ago, Nishris said:

My application March 3rd still says "Case was received" in the case tracker app. Really they have not even started working on my case yet after 7 months, this is ridiculous 😖😠. Are there still chances of getting RFE when they actually work on the case then?

7 and a half months is well beyond processing times from USCIS and warrants your frustration. We are same day.   But stay positive, you are almost there.. A case inquiry will get you a response within 30 days. Goodluck

And there is always a chance of RFE.

If you go to submit an inquiry for cases outside the normal processing time, you cant, The drop down menu  is conveniently inactive for form number and form sub type, making it impossible to submit the online form.

Is this due to the Pandemic too?

We are march3.The representative said its another 30 business days for a response to inquiry. I did it. Peace of mind something will get done. Unfortunate to wait an additional month for figuring out what the is going on
