My status final changed to "New Card is Being Produced" yesterday, 30 days after my interview - very glad this process is almost done!

Try not to worry yet - file a case with USPS and also try calling them. My EAD went "missing" in the postal system for about 10 days and still turned up safely. Fingers crossed it arrives ok!

I hope you will get an update soon. Honestly I wasn't expecting the approval to be this soon, bc the email that I received right after the interview said my case must be reviewed.

    Status updated to "Interview Scheduled"!!

Any sense of how far in advance DC typically schedules? Want to get a sense of how long I have to pull our documents together/do my medical etc.

Also - does anyone have any civil surgeon recommendations?

Guys, I'm so excited! My USPS Informed Delivery shows two USCIS envelopes coming today!! I'm so hoping it's my 131 and 765 approval! My online status hasn't changed, so I'm nervous...

Mail comes pretty late around here so I won't know until around 6pm but I'll post once I know for sure!
We filed early June, bio was mid August.

To all the June filers who received their combo card already: what's your AOS status? Mine still says ready to be scheduled for interview...

Also does anybody know what the current situation is about entering the country with AP? Travel restrictions allow for US citizen spouses to enter, does that mean I can travel with AP - even though my GC hasn't been approved yet?

Oh good to know! Sounds like one of many USCIS mysteries... How long did it take for you to receive a combo card since the approval?
    Thank you, no not yet!
Thank you and yes, from what I know by looking at the forum for May filers, the USCIS is making slow but steady progress!

Two letters incoming from USCIS today, thank goodness I can read the most important part - EAD and AP approved as of  October  1 (no idea what the second letter is):

We just came back from the interview and I’m approved aaaaaaa!! I’m gonna write down my experience before I forget.

So, our interview was at 11:30, Reno office, we went in at 11:15 and waited to be called until 11:40. The interview officer was super nice, he asked us the typical COVID-19 questions, then we took the oath and the interview started.

For what I could see the forms were reorganized in this order: I-485, I-944, I-864, I-765 and I-130.

He went through my I-485 and asked what’s my name, date of birth, address, previous address, if I’m currently employed, my parents names, how many times I’ve been married and date of marriage. Then he asked my husband his name, if he’s currently employed and how many times he’s been married. Also he had to add to my form that I was part of an organization because I didn’t write it in the original submission. Then he went through the yes/no questions, probably asked me 10 of those. I said yes to two of them (i had already disclosed it and explained it in the application I sent).

Finally he went through the rest of the forms and asked us if we had any type of paperwork/receipts/statements with both of our names or the address we share in it. We gave him our life insurances, health insurance, tax transcripts (we didn’t filed jointly but the transcripts had the same address), my military spouse card, joint bank account statements, his paystubs, my medical/pharmacy bills and that’s it.

He said “that should be enough, we are going to finish the background check and in an hour I should be able to approve you guys”. We left the building at 12:05. An hour later my online status for i-485 changed to “new card is being produced”. For I-765 my online status is fingerprints have been taken and I-130 case was received, I don’t think it matters anymore though.

Hope this helps you, the interview was very painless in the sense that nothing was asked that surprised us. Thank you so muuuuuuch for the support and help. I’m sorry if the post is written kind of poorly, if you have any questions let me know!

    Hi all,

I applied to expedite my I-131 application September 18th due to my step mothers passing. Today, my request updated to say Approved. Can anyone tell me roughly how long it will be until I receive my travel card? My step mothers funeral is October 14th. I asked on the USCIS live chat & they told me 15-30 days, I am sure I've read on here before of people receiving the travel card within a week of being approved.

Also, when I receive my I-765 card, I assume it won't be a combo card as I've successfully expedited my I-131?
*Edit* My I-765 case status literally just updated to New Card being produced, hopefully I will be getting a Combo Card

    Many thanks
