Vawa approved January 2020

Green card approved October 2020.

did you take all your past traffic tickets or officer pulled them somewhere? What type of questions from I485 were asked and I assume it’s only I485 that is attached to I360 And NOT to I130?

Officer asked me if I ever had a ticket When I replied yes and told her it was dismissed, he then asked from court documents.

what other documents did you take with yourself and why did officer take your divorce decree? I am asking as my divorce decree looks messed up given I had to pay my ex spouse for his attorney fees and also we had prenup. I just wanted to have this all finished with divorce as he was torturing me.

Oh okay just.. take all the documents showing the prenup and Divorce with you also I took with me (originals). Officer took the divorce decree to update my file.

all passports

, birth certificate,

I-94, proof of Income and tax returns do I-864w ( just to be safe)

Medical examination 

Driver license 

All EAD cards

divorce Decree

abstract of marriage, certificate of mariage

bills, pictures and bank statements.

As a reminder officer only asked me my spouse name. But nothing about my past marriage or abuse.

but interview was very tricky specially about yes or no question. Please review the I-485 that you sent read and remember what you said.

something I remember also is traffic ticket take with you any court related traffic ticket. The officer took it and asked me if there was anybody injured in the accident I was into, thanks God the response was no.

from that point I knew USCIS knows every little thing about us

Thank you. Yes I got help one time from My Senator to get my First I-485 that my spouse that I filed with I-130 move to vermont ... and then the senator help me get an “interview”.. you know election are coming they will be very happy to help..

yes AO made copy of divorce decree and gave me the original..

Also base on my experience my case status online never update I had to login to myUSCIS account to see that I was approved

I sent I-360 with police report of abuse, letter from my doctor and my psychologist letter from the social worker that was helping me, affidavit  from friend who witnessed my spouse abusing me. Also I send pictures of lots of crazy things on my body... also all evidence of marriage bills and share bank account.

”As of August 25 2020, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MXXXXXXXX for an interview.

We will schedule your interview and send you a notice.

Please follow any instructions in the notice.”

What is it.? What to get ready.? Do I need to do my medical now.?

It’s ok I passed lots of time trough the border patrol in Laredo,TX . They asked me if I was a USC.? I said no and show them driver license and work permit and they let me go without any problems.

After my i360 was approved, while waiting for i485 interview, my i360 updated to correspondence was received and USCIS is reviewing it....but I believe it was due to the fact that I updated my address with VSC! For the letter you received, it's the courtesy letter..your case is moving along, hoping you get scheduled soon!😊👍

My I-360 was approved back in January and I already received c39 and approval letter but today My I-360 update again to “CORRESPONDENCE WAS RECEIVED AND USCIS IS REVIEWING IT” 

is it an update of my I-485.?

recently my lawyer ask the congressman to do an inquiry on my I-485.? And my lawyer already received a letter saying They are working on my AOS and I’ll need a new medical.

so what’s this update on my I-360.? And what does it mean.?

It's always advisable to get the medicals done when you have a date for interview..also there's no set time from receiving CL to getting GC..it all depends. There's always an interview except in rare cases and at the discretion of the officer in charge of your case. USCIS has no official declaration whatsoever scrapping interviews..like I said it's at the discretion of the officers. I received my CL in March of 2019 and my interview was set for March 2020 that's when I got my Greencard!👍

how long does it take from the courtesy  letter to receiving the GC.?

Priority date doesn't affect the pace of the case..if your field office is fast, then you could get scheduled sooner than anticipated. You can get a clue by checking the USCIS processing times for your local office. I don't think anywhere could be as slow as NYC. I'm surprised I'm done already..I know lots of folks in NYC who got approved way before me and are still waiting. NYC is terrible! You're almost there just hold on🙏

Ok I’ll check online.. since I moved from where my lawyer is located (everything is sent to my lawyer address)... is it going to be the field office where my lawyer is located or at my new address.? Also can I send my medical via Mail if I receive a courtesy letter.?

My priority date is a date in November 2017... do u think is going to make it fast.? If they send me the courtesy letter can I mail my medical.? How long did you have to wait after approval to get an interview.?
