My fiance is from Hermosillo, Sonora, MX. We received:
- I-797 approval: 1/13/20
- Juarez Notice: 2/26/20
- Original appointment: 6/15/20 (Approx. 4-months from Juarez notice), which was canceled.
- Still pending new appointment
I spoke with multiple immigration attorneys and all of them say they do not have any information on when Juarez is going to reopen for interviews.
This is amazing information thank you so much, were soon going to be with our spouses if not this year next year there is an end

Pre-Covid it was 9+ months to interview and now there is an additional several months of backlog in front of you. Simple math.
9 months for Juarez ? what is this China? no it was 3-6 month for an interview lol where do you get this math

Does anyone know how i should estimate my plans of marriage with the backlogg from Mexico Juarez? My NOA2 is July 30th but Since March 18,2020 every visa was cancelled in Juarez.

@fed614 How were you able to call? What number did you use? I got a canned voice message on both lines and then it disconnected. I sent an email to them inquiring about my invoice number and haven’t heard anything back.
thoughts @greenbaum? I called at 10:15 in the morning MST this morning
I used the regular nvc number (603) 334-0700 and called at 8pm. the email takes forever but you still need to send an email lol to get the email version of the letter since the letter takes months.

Has anyone with July approval heard anything from the NVC? I just called them (my NOA2 was July 14th) and they said that their records show they have not received anything from USCIS yet... I called USCIS and their notes for my case say that notice of approval has been sent back in July (the person I was talking to did not know if that meant sent to the NVC or just to me). Anyways, I am wondering if anyone else has called and gotten that reply from NVC? It seems to me they might have received the notice from USCIS in the mail but haven't processed it yet. The only thing that is confusing is their reply, that they haven't received the notice from USCIS yet, which makes me think USCIS has not sent it or it was lost in the mail.
Hey i just called NVC they said they are working on cases from August 4th so that means yours should be completed i called and they said that mine is awaiting data entry but they received my petition at the nvc august 14th

thank you @Greenbaum do you have the p3 for juarez ? im planning on doing an expedite based on us interests.? can i please have it if you have it
-
Also @Greenbaum
My noa 2 says monterrey for the consulate under approval does that mean the beneficiary will interview there ? or will it still be juarez or México city ?
-
Greenbum are we still going to need to do the I134 even though they are not enforcing the public charge rule ? or do it anyways for the K1
-
I got my NOA2 approval July 30th am I a part of this group here? or am i apart of the August NOA2-NVC?

Strange visa journey CSC is back to Jan 13th processing date makes no sense is something wrong with Visa Journey
-
first time not seeing the Visa journey time line stop moving and get stuck in Jan 14-16 back and fourth. Why?
-
@Coin3 Now thats what I wanted to see data, it may not computationally explain the situation but using the small sample of Visa journey users it does get our hopes up a lot seeing your data and quicker approvals.

Yes, Jan cases are getting their approvals quickly ☺️
Could you please share Facebook group's name?
🙏I wonder why they are processing everything so fast ? Is it that they have ligher case loads? or is it that they have more time on their hands with less stress of traffic lol? Not complaining but its wonderful to see these good news for everyone getting approved in 3 months. Good luck to everyone maybe May 2020 is our year to get approved.

Does anyone now whether the coronavirus affects is slowing down or speeding up the process in the background?

Having your funds removed from your account is a good feeling but it leads to a long wait. Rest assured that things are moving much faster then they did a year ago when it was taking upwards of 7-12 months.
It sure is, I saw the historical times and it looks like it was 3-6 Months those were the good days. Does anyone know why these events occurred at a much faster rate of approvals compared to now?

My credit card was charged today 02/24/20, I assume the noa1 is on it's way?
