I am going to change my appointment, so that spot will become available. I need something in early April. I contacted the consulate and they told me they do have a later date available in April. Maybe you can slide in. The additional visa I am trying to figure that out. I put in the visa application for my husband (I am the petitioner) and the immigration officer that is handling his visa for NZ is in Beijing and they are out due to the coronavirus (just my luck). Thats why I need a later date to secure the NZ visa. rrrrrrrrrr He is from Samoa.

Yes I agree, the scheduling was sporadic Last year and not very consistent. I was DQd on 1/28. I hope it comes sooner then later. I think the longest wait Ive seen is 3 months. I am also IR1.

Based on other responses I would think the beginning and end of the month.

Can the consulate give a time frame for appointments or no. My situation is a bit complicated. My country doesn’t hold immigrant visas interviews. I have to go to a host country to attend. In order for me to enter the host country I have to get a visitors visa. They won’t give me a visitors visa without the appointment letter and that takes 30 days. I am not sure how to proceed, because the time frame. 

When do the consulates usually start to send the appointments, or NVC I guess.

Yay it’s ok lol, I waited 9 weeks one submission. What consulate

Do you guys know how long New Zealand is taking to schedule interviews perhaps.

My case was closed document qualified. Sent 11/26, accepted 1/28. First submission. Does anyone know how long New Zealand is taking for Interview letter. Thanks,

Can't believe it has actually happened! Thank you guys for being so open and supportive during this process. Honestly it gets so exhausting venting about it to friends and family who don't fully understand the struggle. You all have kept me sane!!

Hopefully everything will be DQ for me this week. First submission and tomorrow will be 9 weeks. 

Does anyone know the approximate time it takes to get an interview letter from the Aukland US consulate, after NVC closes the case.

conditional expedite approval did not help with getting DQ any faster unfortunately. hopefully the Islamabad embassy can schedule IV quicker though. anyone have experience with this?
