Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in What's the next step?
O if that's the case 2 months is nothing, might want to read up on more of the process to see what's expected, not to mention embassies have told people they're not processing K1 visas right now, although that shouldn't affect general USCIS processing.

Huh?
You're asking about February but this thread is about July.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in Filed I-130 Application July 16, Did We Also Need to File I-485?
You wouldn't have filed it at the same time anyway, it would come later in the process if it applied to you.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in advice for spouse visa needed (bonafide evidence)
So you want them to lie?

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in advice for spouse visa needed (bonafide evidence)
You don't need financial co-mingling, most won't have that.
This is asked all the time.
Evidence that portrays a bonafide marriage.
You want to submit evidence that tells a story, boarding passes, passport stamps, photos, but photos with others and maybe identifiable landmarks are more valuable.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in Immigration agency pushes back 13,000 furloughs until the end of August
It's probably going to be a keep the lights on situation, I would expect everything to be affect.
It's probably all in the administrations plan.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in i130 filer for March 2020
Some people have gotten unusually fast approvals, but don't get too over excited about it because it won't happen to everyone, especially depending on the country. Normal processing time would put you around mid fall, but also note the current situation and possible shutdown will affect things.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in i130 filer for March 2020
sounds like you should be hearing something soon.
still no change on my and I filed about 10 days before you (also Texas), but you're the UK which is easier

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in i130 filer for March 2020
This thread is for March 2020 filers, you might want to see if there's an active thread for your filing date, although that sounds like a long time for Texas.
Hope things start moving for you.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in Request for additional evidence at interview
what did they ask for? that might help determine what's going on, but it's also ok if you prefer not to say.
Also can you fill out your timeline, that will be helpful to everyone.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in Nebraska transferred to Texas
Yes, but don't expect it to be the 5-7 months due to the current situation, VJ estimates have already moved 2 months further out.

Babu Frik got a reaction from MrHanky in Mexico Marriage Certificate Confusion
We got married in Cancun, used a planner someone recommended and they were VERY cheap but only speak Spanish, they got us all the papers right away, originally I found someone who spoke English but charged a fortune.
Let me know if you want the contact information.
No idea about the name situation, you might want to create a topic specifically on that to get more traction.

Babu Frik reacted to NasUK in K1 AND COVID AS EXEMPTION
Hello! My fiance and I are applying for a K1 Visa. We are trying to find more information on if Covid is considered an exemption that falls under extreme circumstances for the requirement of having met, in-person, within the last 2 years. As much as we would love to be together by now, this pandemic has made it impossible. Can you please advise me on the K1 process as it currently stands? Thank you

Babu Frik reacted to MrHanky in What month is in process for I-130 now? for potomac to be specific.. USCIS updates are behind.
You should look in the forum for 2 specific threads.
One is for general filings for your month.
The other is for Potomac.
Also if you're here looking for other peoples information, you should fill out your timeline to contribute back.
That will also give you a estimated date. on when you might expect your case to be approved or wut not

Babu Frik reacted to MrHanky in Filing G325A along I485
If you file something that's expired don't be surprised or upset when they reject your whole application.
USCIS provides instructions, you should read those.
Also VJ has a guides, its in a section called Guides.
Please read it.
If you have questions or need clarification after that people would be more than happy to help you.

Babu Frik reacted to MrHanky in USCIS PROCESSING TIME:
Hi, this is asked a lot in the forums, you can see the general answer by searching for this.
On the USCIS website itself it notes that its updated on the 15th of every month.
Most of the time that's true, sometimes its off, and sometimes they screwup the updates.
VJ has its own processing times, but its based on people like you who fill out their timelines, (hint hint)
Its only a very small subset of applicants and can't be used to file an inquiry.
It will also give you an estimated date on when you should expect your case to be approved etc
You can only file an inquiry when the OFFICIAL USCUS site shows its past your processing time.
Also be sure to read the guides.
Since your timeline isn't filled out I don't know when you filed, you may or may not be out of normal processing time.
