Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in I-130 February 2020 Filers
This thread is for people waiting for USCIS approval.
You'd usually move on to the NVC thread like this one.

I'm not sure what your post means, but you might be looking for the August filers thread.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in Juarez Consulate Reopening
I'm still a ways off, but I had been keeping track of things on the forum for a few months and the wait has been a minimum of 12 months.
This is based on the experiences of others who have gone through the process and who are still waiting.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in Booked tickets
This link has a lot of helpful info and there's a number you can call if you have more questions.
Exempt how? Says Amsterdam.

had JFK in my head cause a lot of flights go through there.
The CDC link applies to everyone no matter the destination if still in effect, that's the country in general.

Are you sure you're allowed to enter the country?
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/from-other-countries.html
If you are, it's likely you have to fill out a survey when you arrive.
You can be fined if they find out you didn't quarantine, I think that's only happened to 1 person so far though.
But it sounds like you have no plans to follow that.
Here are the details.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in Filing online
The point of filing online is that you don't need to mail anything in.
The only time you would need to mail something is if you get an RFE.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in i130 filer for March 2020
I asked them via chat. Launch ask Emma and ask for a representative.
I think it's still a little early for us to hear something. At the earliest we're probably looking at late September.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in i130 filer for March 2020
Mine was 2 weeks before you and I had a touch on May 11th. I thought maybe it got transferred because that happened to other people, but I checked twice and it was still at Texas.
I've been following the February thread where there's been approvals, but it looks like they're all from Nebraska surprisingly. Texas isn't as fast as it used to be, and from recent news, it looks like things are going to get slower. sigh.

Open hours is Monday - Friday.
I saw another post saying NVC wouldn't answer and it was because it was Saturday....

I had also been visiting about monthly until the lockdown happened.
I've been too nervous to fly so we haven't seen each other in 5 months.
I have an already existing upcoming flight but wasn't sure I should risk it.
Interesting to see you're still flying down there.
But I'll face the same wait with Juarez unfortunately.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in Can’t open receipt notice
It sounds like you don't have a PDF client installed.
You'll get the same in the mail in about a week, maybe a little longer with everything going on.

You're well within processing time for any service center.
Btw, how did you find out you were transferred?

Babu Frik got a reaction from MrHanky in I-130 Online Filers
Being thorough wouldn't get your case reviewed any quicker, everyone waits in a queue, usually months, but some have gotten lucky.
If you update your timeline you'll get an estimated date.

there should be a field to report if your case was transferred

Babu Frik got a reaction from MrHanky in Mexico Marriage Certificate Confusion
We got married in Cancun, used a planner someone recommended and they were VERY cheap but only speak Spanish, they got us all the papers right away, originally I found someone who spoke English but charged a fortune.
Let me know if you want the contact information.
No idea about the name situation, you might want to create a topic specifically on that to get more traction.

1. Yes
2. Read the instructions regarding this, it varies. As far as the signature, I think others haven't done this if you read through recent posts.

You can definitely do it on your own if your know your way around a computer to get the info.
I know some people have some more complicated cases, or it's just more convenient for them to use a lawyer, I won't bash them as others do, but this website was a life save in getting through the process.
