We sent our package on 10/21/23 and recived a txt msg today with IOE number.
As far as utility bills, called Power Company, City Water and Natural gas company and they are saying that they cannot add two names on the account, they did it in the past but no more nowadays, only one name on the account.
What other evidence did you send to show cohabitation?

Hi all, I filed for ROC a couple weeks ago and it says Vermont Service Center (VSC) is handling our case. We live in Washington State, and from what I’ve seen WA State is not under VSC jurisdiction.
Is this unusual?
-
We got Vermont Service Center (VSC). Uscis reports 23.5 months, VJ timelines show ROCs with NOA1 date of Sep 2022 are currently being processed.
who knows though, ROC is such a gamble re: timing

It seems I might be out of the loop but is a case getting sent to the NBC not a good sign? Just legitimately curious
Some people have found that cases going to the NBC means you are more likely to get an interview for ROC, which may mean longer processing times. I have not seen the statistics myself so cannot vouch for them, just speculating based off some anecdotal posts I’ve seen on VJ.
For what it’s worth, my husband’s AOS went to NBC and we had to go in for an interview. Wait time at Seattle FO was 2 years.

It took more than 2 weeks to receive our notice in the mail. It was posted online in spouse's USCIS account within a few days. We have yet to hear back about a biometrics appointment.
I'm a little concerned that we got the National Benefits Center instead of a service center. We sent a very detailed packet, so I don't what we could have possibly missed.
Were you interviewed for your I-485?
Albeit having an interview for AOS does not automatically mean your ROC interview will be waived.

No notices yet! We filed 10/13 and received the text 10/18. Been monitoring informed delivery like a hawk but nothing yet

no.. I just have biometrics scheduled
Hmm. Not sure - i know actively reviewed is a generic update and doesn’t really mean much especially so soon after submission.
maybe they’ll skip biometrics or maybe we’ll get them scheduled soon. No idea, but here goes the ride 🥂

Dear VJs,
We received this text message from USCIS. See below
“USCIS: Your case was received.
Receipt # IOE… Official Receipt Notice (Form I-797C) to follow in mail. Msg & Data rates may apply. DO NOT REPLY”
Thursday,10/12, package sent via usps
Friday,10/13, package delivered at P.O.Box
Monday, 10/16, case received by USCIS and case number received .
Good luck 🍀 to all of us!
Congrats! Our box (yes, a box because of 4 years of evidence 🫠) reached the P.O. Box on Friday as well, but we have yet to receive the text. Hopefully it’s only delayed because of the size of the petition.
did yours also go to Phoenix?

What's Addendum I and II to Form I-751? First I'm seeing this 👀
Hey! It is our attachments for further information to clarify addresses and previous residences. It is not required unless you have lived at multiple addresses and/or need to provide more info. For example we have supporting evidence from our former residence (where my mom still lives, and it's our mailing address - many of our assets are registered here and it's kind of a secondary address) but our main physical residence is a shared apartment, so I wanted to make sure we were explaining it clearly to avoid any confusion.

Hi all -
We are preparing to send out our ROC I-751 in 2 days. Would highly appreciate your help in checking our table of contents in case we missed anything.
We have been married for almost 4 years (our AOS interview was a week before our 2 year anniversary ughhhhh) so tons of info to send.
We checked out all the guides on this site and are using a template a user graciously shared on another thread. Thanks in advance!!

Hello all,
We have our green card interview on 12/3. I will be the main sponsor (petitioner) but do not have 3 years of taxes since I was not required to file in 2018. I have the transcript from the IRS showing no record was found for 2018. Will this be okay?

~ Moved from AOS K1/K3 Case Filing & Progress Reports to AOS K1/K3 Process ~
Actually, brining an updated recent I-864 and supporting documents to the interview is required. It doesn’t have to be the same sponsor, life circumstances change so as long as you qualify financially you’re good to go.
Thank you! I have 2019 and 2020’s tax returns, but was not required to file in 2018 (I have a transcript showing nor record was found from the IRS). Will this matter?

Hello,
We applied for our AOS in January of 2020. My sister was a joint sponsor because we didn’t make enough. We finally got our interview date for December 3rd, and in these 2 years each of us make enough to be the sole sponsor.
Can I bring new I-864 and sponsor documents to be the new sponsor or will they go off of what was sent with the AOS documents?
-
UPDATE: Our interview is on December 3rd, which is a Friday. Our 2 year anniversary is Tuesday, December 7th.
we are one business day off. we have decided not to risk rescheduling because Seattle field office is just too unpredictable. We’re hoping we get an officer who will be understanding and if not, it is what it is

Not denied. They just cannot complete N-400 adjudication while ROC is pending:
I see… so it could add a ton of time to the whole process. Any advice on my original situation of rescheduling/taking a chance? As I mentioned I’m in Seattle so wait times are uncertain.
