Hi, if you have an online account with USCIS  you will be able to download a pdf file appointment letter. You will also receive one through the mail in about 10 days from the day of status change.

I used turbo tax to file for an extension and got an email acknowledgement. Not sure what proof one gets if extension is filled by mail.

That I am not sure though. You may want to check Your embassy to be sure. I apologize I generalized my statement. In the Philippines, we are required to present the certificate to prove that we were never married. You may want to check the travel.state.gov for country specific civil docs requirement. Please see attachment. 

Hi! You mean by never been officially married, but living together? I think so. Your category remains as long as you can provide certificate of no marriage. It’s okay to have children and even add them as derivatives, as long as you are not married.

I have heard quite recently about this issue and I am considering to give it a try. However, you need to have a strong reason as why you think you qualify for the expedition. One good and convincing reason is if you think your case is in US's current interest.

Good news! My father just passed his citizenship interview today. He was granted to have his oath taking ceremony right after. Tomorrow is my mom’s turn. Congratulations to your father. He will receive the certificate at the ceremony. That could be the same day as the interview, weeks or months later. Every center is different.

I am not sure because i had my bio appt in Oakland and my field office is san Francisco.

My parents also filed it online on January 11 2020 and they received the interview letter last week. 

For now, it’s hard to tell since the VB isn’t moving much. Since last year, Chart A only moved for 14 days. Hope the rate moves faster as the months come by.
