    I  received my immigrant visa. I arrived to Orlando  on December 27.  I would like to know if  I have to apply for: 
     
    - Green Card
    - SSN  ( I have an ITIN,  what I need to do... to have my SSN)

    Hi everyone!
     
    I had my interview today, all was almost ok, but  The Consulate didn't receive my medical on time.  I had  the Medical Exam with Medisys in Montreal on Dec 2nd  and I received an e-mail on Dec 8th  which said that it had been submitted to the eMedical system. However I was denied and given a section 221g form as my medical exam is still pending to be received. They kept my passport but I am still pending to be approved!
     
    I knew anyone had the same experience. Please let me know if I have to wait 4 or 6 weeks. Where I can check my status.

    My passport came today! I just picked it up from the post office
     
    I’m in Vancouver. Tracking number was received Monday (November 16th), and the passport was available today for pickup at 9am local time today (November 18th). So only 2 days to  get across the country!

    For those going to Medisys, I did my medical Tuesday morning. I just received an email from them stating that they already sent the result to the consulate and I also received the tracking number for my vaccination & X-ray CD copie. So the process was pretty quick  It took 2 days.

    Thx for all your messages.  I am in Florida, and I will travel to Burlington- Vermont and then I will go to Montreal by car on June 6!

    Hi,
     
    NVC  has created my case recently,  On October 23, 2019, I paid both fees 120 + 325 already. On October 24, 2019,  I submitted all documentation.
    I would like to know:
    -  Processing time for interview.
    -  Next steps.
    -  If during my future interview I have to bring  passports photos  of my husband or only myself.
