Many have done that of course. If you have not hit the 5 month or 150 day mark then the response will likely be "wait" or "we are working February still" which is a half truth.
As a fellow May filer I think it is way too soon as there are ZERO non-expedited May filers approved yet so our turn has simply not come yet.
Maybe later this week will start to see a few May NOA 1 approvals.
 

Her question is 'does it make a difference if the petitioner is in the militar?'. Her question implies whether certain job desc allows the case to be treated with priority just because the petitioner is in the military. She did not say anything about having the case expedited. That's why I responded with 'everyone is treated EQUALLY.' Just because the petitioner is in the military, it does not mean that their case is to be processed first than that of the others whose petitioner isn't.
 
But if the petitioner is about to be deployed, expediting the case can be REQUESTED, provided that there is a documentation proving the said circumstances coming from the petitioner's higher ups. And it is not guaranteed to be approved 100%. It is still under USCIS discretion. That's why it is called a REQUEST TO EXPEDITE.
 
I research, too you know.  But I pay attention to the question, and do not assume that she meant something else rather than what was stated. I started doing research even before we filed last year. And what I learned from helping people through the process is that providing tons of info to people who are new to the process can be overwhelming.

Certain embassies will NOT allow you to attend.
If yours does then it sure does help. It shows the CO the other half of the relationship.
There was a State Department Video where they stated they love to see the other half attend.
It will give great moral support to your Fiancee as well.
 
I'm not attending though as I just got back from her home country last week.
When I bought my tickets I thought she would have been approved by now but obviously that did not happen.

It sure could. The DACA folks are required to apply or update status every 2 years. With threat of the program ending many could rush to renew and send the request to CSC which means less time for I-129F's.
The folks who work K-1 honey bunny visas also work other cases as well including DACA. Not all DACA applications go to CSC though. My understanding is that it is based upon what state you live it which then determines where to send the DACA request. 

Only 3 approvals today plus the 1 RFE to approval for Keith.
Pretty sad numbers overall.

I went thru a successful K1 process in 2012 and had a similar situation as your's. Me and my ex-wife each claimed one child on our tax returns so I put down one dependent on I-134. I didn't have any problems. Hope that helps. 

I used the new one. Hopefully they will accept your's. NO RFE!!!

I know what you mean. Maybe they are finally making some progress.

Make sure you find out how to withdraw correctly. It will not be held against you in the future. Things happen beyond your control. I went thru the K1 process before and found out she lied to me. I am glad I withdrew properly because I finally found the right partner. I believe you will too.
