  1. Woohoo! My case went into New Card is Being Produced status today.
  2. Yep, it doesn't make any sense. But yeah there's no limit on how late you can file N-400 once you are eligible in either 3 or 5 year rule.
  3. Yes of course. I think I misread the question as how long can you file under the 3 year marriage rule.
  4. You can file with the 3 year rule right until 4 year 9 months since you got your initial GC approval. There's a lot of time remaining still.
  5. Yeah I am checking in the CaseTrack app. The cases that we have in VJ are just a small drop in the bucket compared to the cases that app pulls up.
  6. A whole bunch of approvals this week so far at WAC, for early November and mid November filers.
  7. Just tried this - it works pretty good except for the cases that have been approved. Those cases don't show up. There's a case I found close to mine that was approved through manual search but didn't show up on the app. Kind of makes sense since USCIS case tracker doesn't show the case type when the case is approved. Still great for showing general progress for a set of cases though.
  8. I agree on the trend that for cases within a given range, RFEs seem to be sent a week or two before approvals are done for non-RFE cases. That matches my experience as well. At least for WAC.
  9. A case number very close to mine was just sent an RFE few days ago. Hopefully that means my case will be seeing movement soon.
  10. Is there a way to scan the cases besides manually inputting the numbers? I inputted maybe 50 numbers and probably 80% of them were not I751 cases.
  11. The good thing for WAC filers in this thread is that we should be seeing approvals fairly soon even with the increased processing times. We saw most WAC filers in the October thread getting approved so now it's our turn. However there's a good chance the processing times will keep regressing so for filers from later months it might end up taking longer than even the 12.5 months
  12. The 10.5 month timeline didn't seem realistic anyway. They were handling October 2021 cases in October 2022, suggesting it was taking them 12 months to process. At least it provides clarity on what I thought was already the case. The strange thing for me is that this is a 6 month moving average, which means they removed the data for April 2022 and added October 2022, and that caused the average to jump by 2 months? That would mean either the number for April 2022 was very low or very high for October.
  13. If your intention is to get US citizenship then you might as well. I would suggest anyone who has a WAC case to wait but for anyone else it makes sense to file N-400.
  14. The service center is assigned by USCIS. You don't get to pick it. It seems that most people in California and surrounding states end up getting assigned WAC (California Service center). So chances are you will get that as well. You will find out once you get your case number.
  15. That 10.5 months is the moving average of the processing time in the last 6 months. It's possible in the last couple months things slow down so now it's really taking 12 months, but the data won't reflect that. The same would also happen if they started processing faster as well.
  16. With WAC current timings I think it makes sense to give I-751 12-13 months before filing N-400. By filing N-400 they may move your I-751 case to a local office for a combo interview which will definitely slow down the I-751. The same probably applies for SRC.
  17. There have been 5 or so approvals from WAC for Oct 2021 thread. We should hopefully be seeing some approvals in this thread very soon.
  18. That would suggest they are a few weeks behind at worst. It also depends on how much % of the total WAC Oct 2022 cases those are.
  19. In any case, it's still showing 80% completed in 10 months and inquiry time of about 11.5 months. That still hasn't regressed.
  20. I don't see the case inquiry time getting any worse for WAC. They are still adjudicating 80% cases in 10 months. I am not sure everyone updates the spreadsheet on VJ.
  21. I got the same email and thought it must be an early April fools at VJ.
  22. An approval was reported in the October thread. There will be more trickling in over the next few weeks and months in that thread. So yes I would expect at least some WAC cases to be approved for this thread by the end of the year.
  23. Speaking from my limited experience, i.e. entering 3 times with extension letter, once on land border and twice in US airports, I was never sent to secondary.
  24. A single individual experience does not address any risk from a statistical perspective. Based on what we have heard on this forum, the risk is primarily flying with airlines based outside of the US. US airlines and CBP won't give you any issues.
