    Well let's see. POE on December 28th 2019. According to SSA, card was issued and sent on December 31st. Card never arrived.

    Waited three weeks. Saw a nice lady at my local SSA office on January 21st. Was told two weeks. At time of posting this, it's been 10 working days and nada. I am understandably concerned that such a crucial document (Real ID act for drivers license requirements etc) has potentially gone missing TWICE.

    I've now camped out in my local SSA office three times, spending on average an hour each time. I am reluctantly planning a fourth trip on Monday.

    The less I mention of USPS screwing up my green card delivery along with USCIS not updating my address, the less my blood pressure raises.

    @Richard Purves thank you.

    OMG we are on the same boat. What happened the time you inquire in SSA office? What did they told you?

    if they don’t have a record of you as you said before, imo something went wrong with the automatic application (it happens sometimes). They will need to see your proof of LPR anyway to issue now so you may as well stop wasting time on the phone and just go into an office with the application, in my opinion.

    @SusieQQQ

    I will try this Monday.. Thank you.

    Go into SSA.   We had better luck going to a suburban office.  The downtown one said to wait.   A day later we went another office , waited less, and a supervisor took care of it.

    I keep calling the SSA but they keep saying to just wait...

  4. I tried, but yet our record is not available.Anybody here who requested Sscard on DS260, and already here in the U. S. How is your Sscard arrive and in how many days does it arrive? Pls I need to know. We are more than a month here and still waiting for Sscard.

  5. Just makes sure you bring all originals documents uploaded... Check the remarks on your nbi clearance. It is very important.. If the remarks is (no record on file or no deragatory record) you are Okey... But if your remarks is (no criminal record) expect a 221g..your birth certificates... Makes sure you corrected all the mistakes PSO, and get a Certificate of no merriage in PSO if you are 18 years old and above. to avoid delay..

    On the section of the DS260 that asks to put social media handles, my mom left a letter off one of my social media handles. She called NVC to ask them to reopen the form to make the correction but they said it was not a critical error. She asked if the error should be made known at the interview and the agent said yes. However I am a bit worried. Has anyone has any experiences with making a mistake on the DS260 and informing the CO at the interview. @dwheels76 any advice? I'm new to the forum but I have noticed in other topics you seem to be very knowledgeable.

    Before your interview @ the consul.. Your ds260 will be check by the embassy employee @ the counter... So list all your mistakes in DS260 so that you will not forgot it.

    They told my wife at the interview itself and it was written on the 221g. I'm sure they will contact you when they are ready.

    You've made a mistake.  There is no way that the I-130 petition was approved on August 1, 2019 and you had an interview 6 weeks later.

    What are the first four numbers after the first three letters in your NVC case number?

    The PD became current before your son's 21st birthdate, so he's eligible for a visa.  CSPA locked his age in.  There's no form that you can file or need to file.

    You are going through AP which is a black hole.  No one can tell you when it will end.

    I mean that is updated status date received in Manila embassy send by NVC and expidited due to incoming 21st birthday because we are under my husband petition.

  10. hi VJ family,

    Regarding CSPA, Any experts in CSPA .. My husband is being petition by her mom,  so we are included under F31 visa category.

    Please help me compute if my son is also qualified for CSPA and what forms should i submit if any.

    They will not contact you, they will either issue or deny your visa based on the NBI letter. Watch your status. Took us another two weeks to get issued after the letter was received.

    oh?... I know we are clear with regards to NBI.. But i am a bit worried if I have to submit our passport or to wait for their call because our passport is still in our hands.

  12. Hello...

    We receive a letter from USEM last Oct. 10 for NBI interview and to submit court records via 2Go. Last Oct. 15 we did our interview @NBI and they said they will forward the letter next week and Also Oct. 16 we submitted the court records via 2go. Until now we did not receive any letter from USEM regarding our passport. I am planning to send it already including 221g letter because we have already complied the NBI written explanation. Anybody here have experience sending the passport without any e mail from USEM? Help pls...

    Have you taken the 221g to NBI to see if they will issue the explanation letter?
