Our application was approved!
We were masking our nerves in the waiting room by giggling over reddit when the officer approached us and introduced himself. He brought me (USC) in for questioning (~30 mins) first while my husband stayed in the waiting room. He was very warm and friendly and welcoming! He asked me basic questions to confirm stuff from our application– it was all very chill but I reaaaallly stuttered and got nervous when he asked me my husbands phone number because I had absolutely no clue what his number is. Then he asked lots of questions like, "what did you guys do last night?", "what did you guys do last weekend", "what did you guys have for dinner last night", etc... He asked us how we met (tinder =D ) and how much we chatted online before meeting in person. He asked about trips we had taken together, how many times I have been to his country, and how much time we had spent with each others' families, and what our allergies are.
The only "evidence of bona fides" we had included in our application were a designation of 401K beneficiary statement, statement of healthcare from my employer, electric bill, lease, and affidavits. We had submitted a photo album but it was returned to us by mail a week after submitting because it wasn't the right size. So he asked me what else I had brought to share, and I basically dumped my bag out on the desk and talked through three photo albums, a receipt from our first date with goofy stuff written on it, post cards we sent each other, itineraries from trips we took, that sort of thing.
Then he let me choose to stay in the room or move to the back of the room while he questioned my husband. I chose to stay and sit in the back. He asked my husband much the same questions to confirm info from our application, and then the same questions about what we were up to over the weekend, allergies, trips, etc...
After about 10 minutes of questioning my husband, the officer told us he would recommend us for approval and apologized for not being able to tell us for certain if we were approved. He then asked if we had any questions, so I asked him when we would know for certain if we were approved. Then he asked, "have you got five minutes"? and we were like, YES!!!!! And in the end he stamped our application. We were SO stoked. It was surreal. We walked straight across the street to the pub we went to after our wedding at city hall and had a toast.
On Saturday around 6:00 AM I got an email notification that the status had been updated. What an amazing relief. 😍

Will your interview be Boston pr Lawrence ma?
It's in Boston

Our interview is scheduled for this Thursday, November 7. We moved last week on November 1. We only moved 40 minutes away and are still in the same state, so I don't *think* jurisdiction of our case will change, but I'm a bit worried that it could complicate our imminent interview. Anyone have advice on this?

Our status changed to "interview was scheduled" last Thursday (!!), now anxiously awaiting the interview letter in the mail!

Both the old and new sites can be hit or miss as far as updating. Many people with AOS pending still say "case received" from their I-129f.
Wow, thank you so much! I just checked the 'old' site (egov) and saw many more descriptive updates. What a relief! Woohoo feeling positive

I checked my case status yesterday and it had been updated to Fingerprint Review was Completed.....so excited that we are moving right along our bio appt was on Monday and the website was already updated on Tuesday.
Where did you check your status, https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant? Our appointment was a couple weeks ago and it still just says, "We received your case. You do not need to do anything at this time".

We filed on 07/15 and got our biometrics appointment letter on 08/05. Appointment is set for 08/15. Stoked that things are moving along. Double stoked to see that USCIS has dropped the EAD processing times at NBC so significantly... but we are in a super crappy situation living on only my income where we may need to lose our apartment that we love and move in with my parents while we ride this out. Lucky to have their support but this is all so defeating and we're only a month in. How are other people dealing with and life-planning around these totally unknown timelines and not being able to work? Looking for inspiration.

Here's the full list of average AOS times for all offices, sorted by Biometrics to Interview.
(Some of this data is suspect though, since it appears in some cases, decisions are made before interview.)

Although... they just cashed our check! So hopefully that is a good sign. Feeling a bit more positive!

Submitted on 07/15, arrived at Chicago lockbox on 07/17. Yesterday we received a letter from USCIS "We are returning an item(s) you send in support of your application/petition, as it is a form we cannot place in your file folder for review by an office during the adjudication process" with our very slim printed-on-paper somewhat smaller than letter size photo album. Silly mistake since the album felt like such solid evidence of our relationship and the only bit of personality. Disheartening since it didn't come with a NOA. Waiting continues...
Anyone know if you can send in additional materials to add to your application or if you just wait for the interview to bring pics?

We got our greencard approved on November 15 and the card is LOST IN THE MAIL!! #######!! We moved three days before our interview and were advised to wait and tell the officer in the interview that we needed to change the address– we did, he took all our info– but he still sent the card to our old address. It's been almost a month... we've been waiting for all of our mail to be redirected by USPS and have still not received a single piece of mail. I've contacted so many people in our local and regional postal service and only today after all these weeks did someone tell me that USPS does not redirect mail from government institutions, including USCIS. So they apparently would have sent it back to USCIS... I think we need to apply for a lost GC? So frustrated!!!!
