you will owe this when filing 2025 taxes or is owed from previous years? you need to know IRS interest and failure to pay penalty as you will owe more than the $6000 in taxes check the following IRS site that outlines how this is figured you must have a payment plan at time of interview and the CO still does have the right to decide the outcome https://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc653

After approval on i-130 guidelines
JeanneAdil replied to seck101's topic in Bringing Family Members of US Citizens to America
Look at your copy of the I 130"s If you put a US field office in the line -60 a, b or c , it means NVC assumes they will interview locally as they are in the US you need to fill out the 824 to have the case interview take place in their home country/ embassy this may be the case for your petition(s) I 824 will correct this- 2 replies

Gisell will no be able to work if approved a K1 visa as she needs the EAD or green card to be able to work / u need to check out the AOS costs for this process / immigration is not fast, and not cheap https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-134instr.pdf instructions on page 5 (to let u know many embassys do not even look at assets when interviewing / they seem to ignore assets You may include the net value of a home as an asset. The net value of the home is the appraised value of the home, minus the sum of all loans secured by a mortgage, trust deed, or other lien on the home. If you include the net value of your home, then you must include documentation demonstrating that you own the home, a recent appraisal by a licensed appraiser, and evidence of the amount of all loans secured by a mortgage, trust deed, or other lien on the home. You may not include the net value of an automobile unless you show that you have more than one automobile, and at least one automobile is not included as an asset

https://www.ssa.gov/survivor your SSA from survivor benefits can be used as income for immigration as that is what i used if you do not do tax returns at this time , use the letter social security sends each year that outlines next year's income (may have to make a SS portal to get the statement) plus statement of no taxes filed (It can be obtained for free online, by mail using Form 4506-T) you do not get to qualify her as not a possible public charge, that is the duty of immigration according to their rules

Eligible Israeli citizens and nationals must have a full-validity, biometrically enabled passport book. Travelers who possess non-biometric, temporary, or emergency travel documents, or travel documents from a non-Visa Waiver Program designated country, are not eligible for travel under the Visa Waiver Program and may instead apply for a U.S. visa https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/visa-waiver-travel-for-israeli-citizens.html The case itself is your nephews case and he is not represented by US Congress /he is not part of their constituent service. / if he was in the US ,and was having issues with immigration, he could sign a privacy waiver acting as a liaison to inquire about the case and that means only inquire as they can not force approval, overturn decisions or bypass legal requirements

Getting ready to apply K1 visa
JeanneAdil replied to LUMINOUS's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
what does 'in relation to our age " mean? Is there a big age difference? that is hard to overcome no matter which visa you petition what is needed for both K 1 and CR1 is his birth certificate and divorce papers (copies to be sent along with English translations at this point ) originals go to interview all info on needed documents for proof of relationship are on USCIS site and above in guides Read the guides above for each visa and get familiar with all the process and the costs If you do not have red flag issues , i say go for spouse visa so you have no problems with getting DL , adding to bank account and the boredom of waiting for AOS after K1 https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/red-flags-that-make-uscis-suspect-marriage-fraud.html -
US boyfriend paralyzed in accident, can I stay longer?
JeanneAdil replied to littlebirdyboop's topic in Tourist Visas
unfortunately taking care of him is considered work and you do not have a work visa and can not do any type of work Even if you were prepared to marry and AOS to stay in the USA , you can not do this work without the proper authorization (EAD or green card) and probably require a joint sponsor for the income help He will have to depend now on family , nursing care, PT, housekeeping , a driver for dr visits, etc (perhaps assisted care facility at this time) This is a lot to think about and i am so sorry for all the 2 of u go thru now my prayers go out to the 2 of u for this to be temporary loss and not permanent -
you have to submit a birth certificate and that is what matters https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-7-part-a-chapter-4 3. Birth Certificate A copy of the applicant’s foreign birth certificate or sufficient secondary evidence of birth must be submitted to establish the applicant’s country of citizenship for visa chargeability, i

country of birth is the important part of the process

not out of order you interviewed and the officer sent it for quality control (sometimes this is to check the officer has done all the proper steps and all your documents are submitted and verified -officers actually have to sign that they have reviewed and put their initials by each step) then it was reviewed by supervisor and that person ok'd the interviewing officer's recommendation for approval same date it was put in line for oath ceremony to be scheduled So, congratulations Please help others who follow in your steps by creating a complete timeline and iD the country this helps the VJ community so much Thank u Mr Adil

you would mean NVC stage at present only last 3 years means 2024 and back but if delay NVC stage of NVC till after 4/15 , you can send IRS transcripts for 2025, 2024 and 2023 I would complete my taxes (online) ASAP and be prepared to add them if u complete the I 864 now and take them to interview BTW hope u added your spouse to tax returns as married and this does help prove the marriage is bona fide you can file MFS but the standard deduction is only $15,750 instead of $31,500 for MFJ you can not file HOH as that indicates unmarried at end of the year (and this has changed as before all u needed was a qualifying child dependent)

upload now allows officer to review before interview and strengthens her petition and avoids AP to send this additional info if they deem to need it officers are given only a short time to go thru all that is needed for the interview (civics test and questions) But also take it to interview /probably no one will look at it but u never can know what immigration will do Allow a couple of months for the oath if she approved https://www.flmd.uscourts.gov/naturalization-ceremonies they will update the above site with oath dates when they have the new schedule Best to her Remember to change SS card after Oath and do the US passport
-
stop thinking about 125% till you do the AOS here in US after marriage you can submit a letter from employer with start date and current salary showing continuous employment if you do not meet the 100% the embassy can ask for joint sponsor so prepare for this if needed If your assets can be easily converted to cash within a year, you can provide them

is he applying for SSA (retirement ) or SSI (which needs to have a recent work and duration test) 6 months of benefits are eligible if he worked for 10 years for 40 quarters -not just worked in the US https://www.ssa.gov/international/payments.html It would be best if he has earned the 40 credits to return to the USA and apply as benefits are not retroactive but would start (when approved) the day he applies Medicare is available for SSA approved cases 6 months after benefits start date so he would need a way to pay for medical care prior to medicare put that info with the questions above about how long outside the US and other questions and follow thru with what u need to do hope this helps

221(g) Medical Expired
JeanneAdil replied to xoxowyg's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
look at your 221g paper , it should tell u how to submit documents Fill out a timeline on your profile and ID the country and VJ members that are familiar with that embassy can help you BUT do not take the medical exam now / wait till new interview is scheduled (and that could be a long time) taking it now could mean it also would expire before decision is made -
