Kbidaa29 reacted to Adam A in Visa
Up to 60,000 foreigners from seven majority-Muslim countries had their visas cancelled after President Donald Trump’s executive order blocked them from travelling to the US, the State Department said Friday.
That figure contradicts a Justice Department lawyer’s statement Friday during a court hearing in Virginia about the ban. The lawyer in that case said that about 100,000 visas had been revoked.
The State Department clarified that the higher figure includes diplomatic and other visas that were actually exempted from the travel ban, as well as expired visas.Trump’s order, issued last Friday, temporarily bans travel for people from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Libya and Yemen. It also temporarily halts Te refugee program.
Morocco is not one of em

Haha you do that otherwise you will go crazy from over thinking, first 2-3 weeks I put my hopes up for nothing thinking I'll get it, tomorrow it will be a month for me, since I read about it on here from many informative people I realized I just need to relax and call Em once a week to check and just keep checking online as well and relax before I lose my mind been years since I saw my family in the US but it will happen sooner or later, we are at the end of it

Been reading about this for weeks, if they needed anything they would have asked you during the interview or in most cases the first week when it was under AP, with immigration everything is possible but I won't worry about it if I were you, just need to be patient cause for some people it takes a while, been a month for me and everything is going smooth in my opinion

Sorry about the above post.
This is normal, I have been verbally approved on may 22, wasn't asked for any other documents during or after interview. My status online had been ready for the last 3 weeks but the date kept updating until today, tomorrow it will be exactly a month for me but I know this is normal. Just be patient and good luck
Sorry hit submit by mistake.

No. The only status that matter is "ISSUED". That's when the visa is printed out.

They're still working on it. It's not issued until it says ISSUED

It depends on the embassy/consulate, so check the VJ forum for your country. My husband's CR-1 visa was verbally approved a week ago, in Brazil, then two days later he received an email from the consulate in Rio notifying him that his passport and visa had been sent by courier, with the tracking number. We're tracking it online every day and it's almost to his city, will most likely be delivered in the next couple of days, so in our case, about ten days from verbal approval to receipt of the visa. Good luck! You should be getting it soon. Congratulations!

It is nice to think that but the reality is that AP is open ended. For some consulates it is a day or two. Morocco, Pakistan, Egypt . . . days, months, years.

Exactly. There have even been denials after 'verbal' approval, whether through AP or just simple review even. It happens.

No such thing as AP after visa approval......Visa approval is always after administrative processing....and is signified by "Issued".
