  1. What was your i751 status until the day of the n400 interview? Did they end up doing a combo? Did your spouse attend as well? I have a pending i751 with the most recent update last June 8th, 'fingerprints taken. Got my n400 update on November 9, set for December 13th, InshaAllah.
  2. Of course, haha. Can imagine many people not well in the know, showing up expecting a single n400 interview only to possibly be hit with the big question. Where's your spouse? Not here? Oh we can conduct your n400 interview but reschedule your ROC another day so you can come in with your spouse.
  3. The thing is, the n400 interview letter does not ask for the spouse to be present. We are just expected to assume both interviews are going to take place and take our spouses with us. A little misleading imo that could result in a lot of delays.
  4. Do they not conduct the i751 part involving the spouse? What if one was to just show up expecting an n400 when they really want to do both without clear prior instructions?
  5. Did you assume it was going to be a combo interview or were you instructed?
  6. Thought I'd post a quick update. Filed the N400 on August 1, 2022. Notified today: Interview scheduled. As for the i751 filed on August 9 2021, last update was on June 8: Fingerprints were taken.
  7. N400 filed on August 1st 2022 update: Interview scheduled. i751 ROC: Last update June 8 2022: Fingerprints were taken.
  8. Used to be 11.5 months. Shot up to 13 in October. FWIW, my filing date is 08/09/21. So it's closing in on 15 months. I have submitted TWO case inquiries, did not hear back the first time so managed someone online to create a second request. Another 30 day wait begins before I get an update.
  9. Congrats! That's two thus far from August 2021. When did you file your N400 and when did it's status change to 'actively reviewing'?
  10. August 2021 ROC filer here, Texas service center. Filed N400 online on 08/01/2022. As of today, the ROC tracker reads : Fingerprints were taken. N400 tracking reads actively reviewing. I personally don't care too much at this point. It'd just be a little helpful and put the mind at ease to be able to travel with a valid GC.
  11. I travelled with an expired green card and the letter earlier this year. No issues. But you have to hope that the immigration officer you're dealing with is aware that this type of thing exists. When I flew to the US for the first time in the CR1, it was from Singapore. And of all places you would never expect a ticketing agent at Changi to not know what the CR1 visa was. Went back and forth for a good 20mins before things were set straight.
  12. I only calculated the timeline that started the day I first entered the USA on a CR1. Any trips taken prior to the FIRST arrival date is irrelevant. This is how I understood the question. So for my case I came to the USA in November 2019. I've been to one trip early this year that spanned 3 weeks and I've listed just that.
  13. Another August 2021 filer here, with fingerprints taken in June 2022. Filed my n400 on the 1st of August, and I had my biometrics taken again on August 22nd which makes me think the i751 filing has not been pushed through at all since the June. I hope it's not a political thing which is what everyone seems to be obsessed with these days. Strong anti-immigrant narratives in the red states
  14. Hi, I'm also an SRC filer. Have you had any updates since?
  15. Good morning peeps! August 2021 filer. Got a request for biometrics in May and had them done on the 8th of June. It's been crickets. I've already filed an n400 as well this month. Any updates to anyone else?
  16. Hello beautiful people! As the title says, IRS is extremely backlogged with tax filings and I have no idea as to when ours will be processed. Our i130 application for parents is now at the NVC stage. What is everyone else doing? Waiting? Or just uploading a 1040 and pay stubs? Has anyone been accepted in this manner?
