yeah.. I will just use the 1040 return with supporting 1099 forms. (He is self employed so no W-2). Also instructions don't include any information regarding the S corporation Tax Returns so I will assume that only the individual tax return (1040) is necessary.

Hi guys, 

I am collecting all the documents for K-1 Affidavit of Support (I-134). I am using a joint sponsor. I know we can use tax returns for supporting documents, but are all 20 pages of it necessary? 

What if my joint sponsor has a 1040 (individual tax return) as well as a 1120S (S Corporation Tax return)? Should we use both?

Update: The embassy has sent packet 3 and they used the same one that you have. So your information is correct.

I found two packet 3s. One is the same link you sent me, the second one looks like this: https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/iv-dv-supplemental/TBL-Tbilisi.pdf

The second one is dated 9/10/2018. Not sure which one they are currently using, but it seems as though most people have been getting the first one, even though it's dated 2013. Guess I'll just have to wait and find out. 🤷‍♀️

BTW, there isn't a DS-160 fee. DS-160 is a form submitted at no charge and is a required document to complete the interview. The fee you are referring to is the interview fee. Which is paid so that you can schedule a interview time.

Thanks, I found packet 3 as well but I am still waiting for embassy notification for the green light to go ahead and schedule medical and submit D-160.

I paid my ds-160 after I received my packet 3. You need create a profile online at ustraveldocs.com. Once your profile is created, send them an email from your profile stating that your petition has been received at embassy and that you're requesting your Packet 3 for further instructions. Then they will send you the packet 3.

 

I would recommend calling the embassy at 

703-988-7103. They told me these instructions, but you can call and verify it if needed.

Hey there @Isadoradaniels2, any updates on your case?

Also was wondering, did you submit and pay your D-160 before you received your packet 3 or after? My case is currently at the embassy but I have not heard from them yet. 

@Greenbaum, Do you by chance know if there is a sub-forum for the country of Georgia? I know there are only a handful of people going through the Tbilisi embassy, so maybe a sub forum may not exist? 

I think posting on here really is good luck lol  after an hour of waiting finally got my case number!

Dear Sir/Madam:

We recently received your visa petition. We will send NVC processing instructions within 8 weeks. Please resubmit your inquiry if you have not received any information after 8 weeks.

Has anyone gotten a similar email? What does this mean?

I emailed them, they gave a standard response as expected,  but cased updated to the day i called,which was July 10,2019. Still in Administrative Processing.

Neither is more reliable (and it's very possible you won't see anything on either, and will have to just wait for the physical mail). For a while it looked like they were phasing out the "old" site, but that trend seems to have reversed itself and there are still lots of cases that show up on only one (or much earlier on one than the other). 

 

We can't opine on which is more accurate. Your mileage may vary.

Hi all, 

My petition was received at USCIS Lewisville lockbox April 8th and I just received my NOA1 on April 16th via mail. Although I never recieved an email NOA1 even though I included the G-1145.
