I know. I’m really angry about Potomac, too. It’s just so unfair to have one service center moving so much more quickly than the rest, without explaining why, which cases go there, etc.  We have been married for almost 8 years, living together abroad. It’s so dumb that it takes so long just to get a pair of eyeballs on our file, to prove our marriage is genuine, when it’s abundantly clear from our file. Like, literally no doubt. I’d understand if the NVC phase took this long, with having to show support, background, etc. but just to verify the relationship??  It’s unacceptably slow. 

Why do we have to be so unlucky? Really I am so angry, people who filed in February 2019 in Potomac are already with case complete. Why don't they redistribute then? This is so ethically wrong. Isn't it the almighty country of justice? Clearly not in this case.

I guess the only positive is that they'll probably get their 10 yr green card at that point instead of the 2 year, but still infuriating 😞

I'm just ready for this whole process to be over. We're coming up on a year very soon and we're not even close. Not even made the first real step yet, that's freaking crazy. All while Potomac couples that filed the same time are done and already spent the last 3 or so months together. 

Since the Senate has now issued an investigation on USCIS backlog we all need to call in and EXPEDITE our petitions under "financial burden"

I disabled the estimated time approval two days ago . Too depressing as you said

I think I might have to disable the estimated approval date emails. They’re just too depressing. Most people in my life would never call me an optimist, though I do have a belief that things are going to speed up. Just me??  With the congressional and senate demands for transparency, and a new deputy director, something has to get better, doesn’t it???  🙏🏻

Thank you so much. It really has been a totally unplanned modern fairytale...haha Being happily single I really tried to fight the feelings, but I lost that battle. I have TOTALLY won though because she is amazing!😍😂😍  We both fell so fast and that isn't either of our personalities normally. Kinda obvious me being never married at 41 and her never married at 38...haha The first time I met her in person was in Manila airport and I saw her before she saw me and I stopped and stared at her for like 30sec or a min before I walked up and my heart went crazy! I knew with zero doubt I wanted to marry her. She looked even more beautiful in person than in pics and video calls... That first nervous hug was it, we were both head over heels at that point. It made the 25 or so hours of travel that I didn't sleep a second on seem totally worth it...haha 
 
So sorry to hear about your whole situation... I hope and pray we have no setbacks. If we do I'll be moving to Singapore! 😂

Keep in mind VJ is just a small sampling of cases. I can see cases being approved/RFE through June 20th, so they are definitely working on all of June.

Yes they did !!!
They didn’t admitted that they lost it .. as you know now they always have an answer in their sense ..
we saw that nothing happen so we call many many times . We had a supervisor ( who finally hang up on us !) who said that they received nothing ..! 
but me , on my hand I have the post office tracking number showing that they received it ..
so we did an inquiry .. with no result 
they just told us to send another file .. and ask for a visitor visa and then ask for an ajustement of status ( wrong info) 
we flew to Paris , payed visa ,embassy fees , hotel etc .. and finally they denied me and locked my ESTA !!!! 
So we sent a new I130 who arrived later because the post office that time made a bad routing so my file went from France to Guyana ( instead of USA ) . Came back from Guyana to France and flew back from France to USA 😞😩
 If they were honest to us I will already have my NOA2 ans I will not deal wit all that c*** ..
but they are hiding themselves behind a phone reading instructions in their screens .
that’s why I feel so upset, impatient and tired ..this whole process is very painful for me .. I really feel hopeless

I don't know the answer, but I have back until ruffly a week after we started messaging in Aug 2016. We stumbled upon eachother purely by dumb luck and I knew from the first few messages we sent that she was the one. 41 years old with ZERO plans to ever marry and plans changed in an instant...😍😂😍😂  We've kept every little thing between the 2 of us because we both knew nearly immediately we wanted to spend our lives together. And you are correct, LOTS of old messages and call logs. I have my old phone I don't use anymore full of that stuff...Haha

Please God let this get things moving!!

Not sure what makes me more happy, that they are pushing accountability on the USCIS or that the two main .Gov parties are doing something useful together instead of just fighting and doing nothing good for the American people...

Yeah..I am thinking the same thing..I have been going twice a year..about every six months..its taking the money that I could be putting in savings. I just came back  March 10th, so it looks like Dec/Jan before the interview. I don' think I can afford another trip in the middle.

waoo , I understand you because me after a year ( I include the first petition that USCIS lost last May ..) I am at the end of my patience especially when I see that they don’t respect the 10mints processing times ..

I just got home and listened to a nearly 4min voice mail from Congressman Thomas Massey that I couldn't take earlier while I was at work. He said it's not the first email or call he's taken recently about the inconsistencies between offices performing the same task with massive differences in time. He said he'll look into it and do anything he can to help this because he feels legal immigration issues are grossly overlooked in political priorities. He mostly focused on the differences between offices than over all processing times (I feel that is fair and a great start if he does actually accomplish anything).
His message was very polite and personal to the email I sent him and not the generic nonsense BS responces I got from the other 2 representatives. Really makes me wish I had a chance to actually talk to him when he called. I may try to call the office number tomorrow that he left in the message. I'd be kinda surprised if I get back to him personally tomorrow, but who knows...😃  His sincerity in answering me personally and a well thought out response with zero political hot air (vote for me, or passing blame) really impressed me and gave me a small glimmer of hope for future filers. I've dealt with the public for the last 25 years in my job and not easily impressed with words without actions and have a pretty good BS filter. Hopefully my impressions of him are accurate. Definitely better than nothing and the best (by far!) response I've received so far...

Ah ok seems like a way to collect more fees and nothing changes lol

What December filing group 🤔? For Nebraska and already approved ? Cos my PD is 14/11/2018 

I also heard from one of my Congressman aides here in Nebraska.  I will be calling them back on Monday beins I'm at work right now and explain our concerns to him and see what he has to say.  Beins its here in Nebraska maybe we can get a little more insight to what is going on. I will let everyone know after I call them back
