We submitted the income tax returns for 2018 but did not include supporting documents (w2, 1099s , form 2555). Does that make a difference?  I am most likely getting a lawyer and taking your advice for now. I tried calling uscis but their lines and too busy. Waiting for a callback. Hopefully this is a clerical error like yours.🙏

We just got our RFIE (filed in late december) saying that we did not meet the income requirements and that we have to submit a joint sponsor. The thing is my husband (petitioner) makes 74,000 annually and we are a hosehold of two. I dont understand why we got this rfie and I am very confused. Please advise.

@Lizelle EspayosI just sent the list that specified the items needed for the interview for the "checklist" part besides the mrv slip, the form and ds160 confirmation. The embassy seemed fine with that.

@Lizelle EspayosI used Pivot medical and they asked for the letter in packet 3 when I tried to scheduele.

Got an email update today that the NVC received my case. My Noa2 was on 11th June. I guess it works for some.

Long time lurker here. Got an rfe dated May 20th for passport size photos today in the mail. It asks for the alien registration number(if known) to be written on the back of the photos we submit. Where can I find this number (we havent received NOA2 yet)?

Thats true. What if I bring both the original and corrected birth certificate to the interview in that case? Will there be any issues?

I am an indian (beneficiary) residing in Singapore. I recently dug up my birth certificate for use in the K1 interview. However, I realised my surname is misspelled on it ( extra letter 'a' added ). Will it be a problem at the interview. If I try to request a cert from the indian embassy, will they accept that instead or should I just bring the birth certificate with the misspelled surname ? Advise needed as I am confused.
