Hi @MalloryCat, I saw on your timeline that you received your Packet 3. What was your solution to not having the "K1 Fiance" Visa Option on USATravelDocs to have the Packet 3 be delivered to Fiance/Fiancee? Thank you!

The embassy has your address from the K1 petition. They'll send it to you without you having to do anything.

And as far as the original post that was quoted goes. The OP back then had picked immigrant visa instead of K- visa applicant

Hey so I was about to file the N-400 but that same morning I found my I-751 approval notice in the mail! No interview and the card was mailed to me on May 17th, according to the app. Looks like a lot of movement for people May 13-17th!!

    Wohoo that's awesome ❤️🎉🎉

today's vj email prediction has my approval slated for mid November 😅 I really hope we get the citizenship done before that.

How are you accessing online information and estimated processing times when you filed online and have no NBC as processing center?

I filed online a week ago (under 5year rule), and a NOA on the mail, and today got my biometrics reuse NOA. Neither of these have a online code.

I feel that when I did the Adjustment of status 10 years ago, I had emails and SMS with updates, now filing online was easier, but respnse is only on paper letters

    thanks

You had to create an account to file online. Right there it also shows your status, documents etc

    Congrats 🎉

finally some light at the end of the tunnel. I’m an April filer too. Everything done online and instantly got my fingerprints will be reused. Almost a month and half…….. crickets lol

You mean JUST a month and a half 😉

Just because many in the last months basically rushed through it doesn't mean that's now to expected for everyone. USCIS processing times still show months longer than what we've seen here. There are also still October filers here on VJ waiting.

Hi y’all, I filed january 08 (within the 3 months window) n I have no update just biometric reuse since January 14th…..

my 2 yr green card expired last year March. please advise.

You gotta keep in mind that while it seems everyone is getting an interview in 2 weeks time it's still not the norm. You only see a fraction of people here that have filed for naturalization. We all want to be one of the speedy ones, but it doesn't always happen. As long as you're not outside processing times as stated by USCIS there's nothing to worry about.

    Hi all - quick update.

Applied for N-400 in early February. A couple of days ago I-751 updated to transferred to a new USCIS office (presumably the field office) from WAC. Update today that case was approved, so no combo interview necessary. N-400 still showing actively being reviewed, so hoping for an interview quite soon given the sudden I-751 movement.

Good luck to all Nov 22 filers with cases still outstanding.

Seems like the N400 shook something lose. Fingers crossed the interview for it will be scheduled soon.

I'm not expecting to hear something for ROC anytime soon unless my N400 will move along. Filed April 2nd and still no word about biometrics. Guess this last one is testing me 🤣

I apply online on 04/17/2024 and immediately it display the documents of the receipt and reuse biometrics.

I have a misdemeanor which was expunged and dismissed.  I hope i get my interview as fast as other people here.

You're at least one step ahead of me. Still no biometrics news for me 🤣

Here's an update on my case:

    Filed 3/29.

    Interview scheduled 4/1.

    Interview on 5/7.

Had interview and Oath Ceremony with the officer yesterday and am now a US Citizen!

This was in the Boise, ID office and the Oath was just between me and the officer + my family. Took 1,5 hour from entering the building until I was out as a USC!

    Quick and easy, great staff!

Now I can be done with this USCIS stuff forever!

You got an interview date 2 days after applying? That's insane 😳

    Congratulations 🎉🎉

I’m also a German citizen and we are deploying in September. I thought I had to wait until the law in Germany goes in effect (6/27) to apply for naturalization? Can I still start with the 319b application process? Please help!!!

You absolutely can apply already. The only thing you can't do before 6/27 is swearing the oath.

I had my interview today in the Baltimore office. It was virtual and everyone I came into contact with were so lovely!

However, I did not get approved on the spot. I had checked on my N400 form that I had been arrested on 2 occasions but the charges were dropped and automatically expunged. I had ZERO documents to back up the expungement so she said she could not approve. I cried the rest of the interview. She said she would drag her feet and issue an RFI so I had ample time to get the expungement records I needed.

the interview questions she asked were:

    1. During the Cold War, what was the main concern of the U.S.?

    2. What are the 2 major political parties?

    3. What is the political party of the current president?

    4. What is the capital of your state?

     I forget the other 2.

I had to read “what do you pay to the government?” And had to write on a tablet “we pay taxes.”

The officer was so lovely. She gave me a pep talk about endurance. Made it clear she wanted to approve me but just needed those documents. I got my paper saying no decision could be made and was sent on my way.

I spent the next 4 hours driving to the courthouse and calling our central repository and uploaded the documents before I even got the RFI.

WHILE WRITING THIS POST, I got a call from the officer telling me I was approved and I didn’t even need the documents!!!!! God is so good!!

she said I will get a letter in the mail with my oath ceremony details.

Praise be to God - through Him all things are possible!

wishing everyone the utmost success in their journey going forward.

What a rollercoaster ride. So glad it all worked out for you 😊

HI! Do you mind sharing which USCIS office did you file at?

I'm in a kind of tricky situation: I've been an LPR for over 5 years, and my husband has qualifying employment abroad, so we both live in Qatar. I'm not sure which USCIS office to choose for my N-400 INA 319(b) processing, as I would need to get a new passport and return back to Qatar right after my naturalization. Trying to choose an office that is familiar with cases under section 319(b), that has a relatively fast processing times, that I can fly to to get my interview and same-day Oath ceremony, plus it has to be near a Passport office to get my passport right away. 😅

Any advice from any of the members of this community with similar experience would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe try asking in the military section. Even if your spouse is not military the process is the same. There are a couple that filed their N400 while abroad.

Got the notification that my interview was scheduled (applied on 4/26), but they didn't upload the document online. Is that how it usually goes and I'll have to wait for the notice and the actual date in the mail?

Give it an hour or two and it should be there. And congratulations 🎊 another speedy one 😁
