I figured, I just had a slight bit of hope, I’m going crazy! Currently waiting to speak with tier 1
Congrats! Is it online or the call is the only way you found out?
It was through call I got know I was approved. You must talk to a tier 2 agent!

I just called the USIS and the lady told me they’re going to send me the RFE letter so they are mailing today and she told me I supposed to receive between 15 to 30 days is this a good or bad news ? And she also gave me a referral number
They are basically asking for more evidence. I guess you will be a bit delayed.

so I talk to a Tier 2 officer said that my case was in the desk of the officer so I called again to talk to you a Tier 2 officer gave me different response she saying my case is pending but everything looks good she didn't mention about my file being of the officers desk its between normal processing weird how one officer tell you and the other officer...
It's better to wait for the hard copy. 😣

We just called and got nothing. No updates. Asked if we were still together, then said standard processing 5.5 to 7 months.
Edit: lady said they track your calls, so it might be best for you guys not to keep calling.
Sigh. I guess we weren't lucky today. Maybe ill call again few days later or maybe a week.

Question for people who found out they’re approved by calling:
did the automated system say your case had just been received? And then you spoke to someone who said it was approved?
or was it just the automated system that told you it was approved?
I believe they all talked to an automated system then was able to connect to someone. But they are actually closed during the weekends and will be back on weekdays from 8am.

This is our problem too, but we didn't include the affidavit of support in our packet. Based on my research, it's needed in the embassy interview which gives us ample time to find a joint sponsor. Supporting documents are required as well according to https://www.uscis.gov/i-134.
Thankkkk you!

I believe it is during the interview that you(beneficiary) need to present financial support. I myself have not got to that stage yet but i am pretty sure it is later on. I filed without financial information.
Thank you so much. 😊

I dont recally fiance filling out any numerical information, I do remember looking up how the calculations are to be done, only thing on that initial packet was employment history. So, the embassy as with the the B1 tourist visa he would have to show proof of how he will financial support if I am not mistaken.
I was just worried that they will return my application for insufficient income. I am trying not to prolong the process. I do have the document to support him just wanted to know when they will need it.

Hi guys, I am actually worried right now. I can't fully financially support my fiance so I asked my Brother-In-Law to do a joint sponsor with me. I was wondering if I should've turn in the "Affidavit of Support" together with the I-129F packet? Or do they just need it during the interview? Thanks soo much!
