Hey guys! Hope everyone is doing well. I just  got an invitation for an interview in NYC, Federal Plaza. Here is the timeline:
 
1/16/19- Submitted I-485, I-360, I-765 and I-131
5/15/20 - Approved VAWA
12/23/20 - Interview scheduled for January 29th, 2021

My I-360 was approved on July and I’ve asked my lawyer to follow up. He inquired and got an email back that my case was in the local office in Queens  since April 2020 🤷🏽‍♀️. So, IMO yes it’s in the local office now. 
Two days ago, my lawyer sent a mail to inquire (USCIS-Queens) and I sent an email to Sen. Schumer’s office. Whatever it takes to speed it up. I’m doing whatever I can right now. It doesn’t hurt anyways.

First of all congrats on your I-360 approval,  for I-485 interview in NY, It take’s  minimum 15 months  to be schedule for interview after your I-485  is been transferred to your local office, be patient.

Well since you've already been told your case has progressed to the local office, it's best to just wait it out..it's obviously in line for an interview. You made it this far..a few weeks or months wouldn't hurt. And oh..happy VAWA anniversary.😊⭐✨⭐🇺🇸

Where have you been?😏😂 someone here..I believe @Iranlucky and few others were approved without interview but don't get excited yet...the adjudicating officer uses their discretion especially in these times to decide who waits to come in for interview and who gets waived!💁😊 there's nothing formal put out to that effect like I mentioned!

WOW!!! Congrats dear!🌟✨💫😀😀👍 so good to hear this! NYC always takes the longest..there are some people who got i360 approval before me and still waiting for interview. It also depends on your field office.
