EAD/AP combo card has arrived!!!

Green Card approved!
 
Our interview was at 10.30am this morning at the Queens, NY office, we were done by 10.55am.
 
We got super lucky, the officer had visited my hometown in England so we all just chatted and joked about it.The officer only asked 3 questions: he asked my husband where I was from (which lead to the chat about my hometown), asked us both how we met and he asked me where my husband worked. He didn't ask to see any pictures or evidence. The only thing he asked to see was our marriage certificate because he couldn't find it in our file (he found it later).
 
He told us we were approved and I should receive my Green Card in the next two weeks. SO relieved that I will make it home for the holidays.
 
 

Got our letter! Our interview is on December 20th at 12:45! 
 

We were approved!!! IO only asked dates of birth and places of birth and confirmed 2nd marriage for us both. Asked the security questions from section 8 of the I-485 and if we hadn’t offered wouldn’t have asked for more evidence. He didn’t really need anything from us and had clearly made his mind up before we got there. 
Old site has updated already!! 

Interview at 745am tomorrow getting very nervous hope they have my medical stressing as my POE was Dublin Ireland

USPS is so frustrating! Informed Deliver shows a letter, from Homeland Security, for my husband! We can see, in the photo, the receipt number for our AOS. Our status had already updated to "Interview has been scheduled" so we're sure this is his appointment letter. The mail came and - no letter! I called the post office and the annoyed woman I spoke with told me that just because it appears in informed delivery doesn't mean it arrived at their branch and we should have it soon. At least we know the appointment has actually been scheduled and we won't have to wait much longer. 

Thank you both for the encouragement. It really was discouraging for me and my husband, we were really excited to have this be over for awhile. Now another waiting game begins...

Hello everyone! I just found out something useful that I didn't know so maybe it will be useful to you as well. You can sign up for USPS informed delivery on their website. It requires confirming your identity by phone number or they'll send you a code by mail(which worked in my case- number may not work). Once you do that they'll send you email every morning with the picture of letters you're supposed to receive that day. I think it's very helpful and I wish I knew that earlier. 
 
Also for those people that are bored while I was on my last month of waiting before the interview I signed up for a lot of free samples and free product programs to receive by mail to review. It made the time pass by faster. Maybe it's something you might want to do.
I hope that information can help someone.

Mine has been "case ready to be scheduled....." for all this while.
And I realised you had your bio Appointment 2 weeks before me.
I've always been praying for Joyousinger to get some updates so that at least I know something is on the horizon...

A text and email came at 5:00 this morning. I didn't expect it in the wee hours on a Sunday but this is what I saw! Don't despair of the weekends, guys! It can happen anytime!

Received notice today that our EAD and AP were approved last Thursday, Nov 7th. Our AOS interview was already scheduled for Dec. 11th

Wow I just checked the mail and in there were two approval notice for my EAD and AP!!!!! I'm sooooo excited.at least I know the card will bbe here soon and my case was not abandoned.

Got an update from myuscis that my EAD was approved yesterday. The funny thing that is my interview is Wednesday next week (Nov 13th) lol

I woke up so sad this morning because many people who applied for their AOS later than me have either gotten their Greencard or EAD while I'm still waiting.I just checked my AP on the USCIS website and saw this.But why would they approve that separately when I actually applied for EAD too? Besides, what I really need now is my EAD not AP.
 
All the same, the waiting continues.

I told you , your EAD expedite request was denied for a reason, congrats!

Try not to stress (I know, easier said than done). Maybe you have a different officer dealing with your case, or maybe it's just later on in the pile of cases the officer needs to deal with. It's extremely likely you'll have your green card in the next month based on what happens with the majority of cases on here. Good luck!

p.s: after the interview my status never changed until the day my card was collected by Usps , só for thoses in same situation try to use “ask Emma” it was very helpful.
