Hey guys! I already updated my timeline but just wanted to let everyone here know too!

My PD was/is August 9, 2018, I got an e-mail on July 26, 2019 from myUSCIS that there was a status change. It said there that my case was approved on July 25! We waited  351 days, so all the ones waiting over 300something days too! Hang in there, you should hear something soon!

You can create an account on USCIS's website and add your case to it; it will then (ideally, if they update it) show you your case's current status on your dashboard.

Hi Guys!!!!! U cant imagine how happy I am)))) my case just been approved. I did not receive any letter yet, but case tracker and uscis website says that it was approved!
    8/22/2018 - case was received.
    04/05/2018 - it was approved.
Ive been so nervous and depresses over this long process. I have not seen my husband for more than a year. During this time our girl was born. He has not seen her yet. It was her first birthday yesterday. Its such a wonderful present for us)))))Thank God, we are near to end. May all of your cases get approved too, so u can finally be with your loved ones. I will let you know, if anything.

Theres more to what he’s was saying. The reason for the PR delay at NVC is that there is a limited amount of visas given to PR whereas USC has unlimited visa. If you would want to read about it some more click on the link I provided below.

A long time ago I asked the same question. The only reason a permanent resident petitioner filer would get approved is because their spousal visa is not considered priority through NVC. They have to wait much much longer in the NVC process for their PD. As a USC, Our visas as they receive, we don’t have to wait. So if a permanent resident gets approved 1 month before you vía USCIS, you will be at the embassy doing an interview and they will most likely still be stuck at NVC.

Wow! I dont understand whats the benefit then of being an US citizen? This is insane.. Is there anyway to adjust my immigration status from US citizen to Green Card? I always assumed that US Citizen will have preference then the immigrants while filing petition.. I was so WRONG. 😨.

Our priority date was June 22nd. We were getting ready to fill our outside of normal processing times form on Wednesday.

I can't believe that the dates have changed this much. Nothing against any residents here, but hey, citizens should have a preference.

    Total BS!

Nebraska August filers...  Looks like we are going to be the last standing, unfortunately. It appears we will start seeing majority of approvals sometime in May/June.

    Hopefully, sooner. Wishful thinking.😫

    Hang in there everyone.

Thank you and I really hope so! Potomac is processing September’s. Why don’t they send some petitions there way since they don’t seem overloaded? You would think. I wish I could see my husband more often. He is too far, it’s too expensive, I am saving my PTO time to attend his interview with him and I have my daughter who is a senior this year. It’s a hard one. But I am not losing hope!! 🙏🏼
