  1. So I attended my interview on Feb 20, and did not get any news after that. This morning I got a notification and log on to myUSCIS account, It says my application is now Approved (on May 4). However, with the pandemic and everything being delayed, I'm assuming Oath ceremonies will not happen until whenever. Anyway, just sharing my news today. I hope everyone a safe day! :)

Congrats. Did you get an email notification or a text message?

I actually just got back from holiday vacation and didn't get anything from USCIS. Just randomly decided to check the old site (egov.uscis.gov) and to my surprise it says "INTERVIEW WAS SCHEDULED" on January 6 (today). :)

Very nice. What was your original case estimate processing time?

4 months and then after I did biometrics it went to 3 months.

Hi Everyone, Wondering if you can help us (forgive me if this should be posted elsewhere...hard to find). My husband is applying for Citizenship through marriage, and Part 9 on Form N-400 is giving us lots of problems. It is asking for the number of days/trips outside the US in the last 5 years, but he only moved to the US 3 years ago when we got married. Are we supposed to include all the days he lived outside the US before marriage in the "total days outside the US" count, minus the number of days he came to visit me in the US...or? How did you all answer these questions?

USCIS is only concerned on the travels you made while you became a permanent resident of the US. You do not need to include the travel information beyond the 3 years that he was not a US resident. here is a link about general info on continuous residence and physical presence for naturalization by USCIS: https://www.uscis.gov/us-citizenship/citizenship-through-naturalization/continuous-residence-and-physical-presence-requirements-naturalization

My wife missed her appointment but did a walk-in about a week later; it was no big deal. This probably happens all the time.

Thanks! I'm thinking of walking-in for my biometrics (we live in columbus ohio), since we will be out of town on the date of my appointment. hopefully it will be ok. meanwhile, we'll wait for that dreaded RFE letter to arrive.
