  1. She didn't submit anyhitng about your time living in Japan?

Seems they want to make sure you travel for sure, because the itinerary, it is not the boarding pass, also you need to do a copy of all your passport. I did a copy off all my passport pages. When we were doing the evidences of meeting, we add just the pages with the stamp but they could see first all my passport information.

My case is similar to your case, i was living for 11 months with my fiancé in USA, at that point we didn't recolect papers, tickets, anything, we didn't know about all this proccess. However, so i put my visa, my i94 too, also i add a copy of my driver's licence, that way they can see i was living with him, same home. I hope that it is enought and bug evidence. Once  i left the country, we were aorund 5 months appart. We meet in Toronto for New Years. We add our boarding passes and the airbnb information where they can see our names. We also add tickets, however we pay a lot in cash. Furthemore, in Canada if you pay with credit card the receipt doesn't show your name. But we submit all we buy in our trip.

Since this is so new nobody knows.  We are going to need to let this one play out.

I know, for sure nobody knows. That scared me. If (in my mind) the current proccess is long, this new thing will be awful. Because it is for all kinds of visa. So that's a hard job. Unless they will check the social medias just in the cases the applicant is suspicius fo terrorism...

Yeah, it will be nice if the people that are starting to applied the ds-160 form could tell us how goes.

  3. I read in the news, it is something that the Goverment was looking fordward to do it. My concern is: will that impact in the time to get the approval? Will take longer all the proccess? There are some points that I don't understand in the new rule.

*Are they going to look every applicants's social media, emails etc? That it is a hard job, it will take forever. Nowdays a lot people have almost 5 Social Media.

*What happen with the private accounts? I don't like to share my life in Internet, so my accounts are Private. Twitter and LinkedIn no for sure.

  4. I am following  this case. I am guessing i will have news about my case soon. I was wondering how they will notificated me, cause they don't habe my email (the electronic one) just my mail. They just know the Petiotionary email, it is what they ask in the I129-f form. I read here, you never received a letter, so how will you know when your case is ready?

I just got an RFE not sure what they will ask for now but I did type up letter of internet to marry one page and we both signed it . I will post what they needed as soon I find out

You need a Beneficiary's fiance intent of marry and another one from the petiotioner. Both signed. That is your RFE. They want 2 letters, one from the fiance and another one from the petitioner.

  6. All i have it is evidences that i was in USA living for 11 months, a copy of my j-1 visa and my Driver's licence so they can see i was living with him. Also i am adding the i-94 number. After that i only met each other one time in Canada, so i am adding boarding passes, Airbnb information.  He didn't get a stamp in Canada, he is american, it is like as in Europe. I am adding tickets from things that we did in Toronto. I don't have more evidences, because when i was in USA we didn't keep any ticket, we didn't realize all this proccess haha. I am adding call history and some chat conversation with my parents, because they didn't meet in person yet.

We added about 7 pictures to our K1 case 1,5 years ago, 4 or 5 with just the 2 of us and the other ones with friends. We got approved without RFE. Spain is not a high fraud country, so that's in you advance. We got some pics while our case was pending with his family, my family and some friends and I brought those to the interview (along with plain tickets, passport stamps etc) The officer wanted to see the new pictures and approved my visa.
As long as you send some pics, some plain tickets, hotel bookings (if available), maybe a sworn explanation from your old host family that your relationship is real you usually should be good to get through the first part. Just keep collecting more evidence to take to your interview.

Yes, we have Airbnb tickets, a ring ticket, a lot pictures. We have one with his friend in USA. He was my host family. Our story was as a movie haha. So for this reason i said i have a lot pictures with his kids.

You are so helpful. Thanks so much.

  9. Hi everyone,

I read a lot about add pictures with family or not. A lot people say helps a lot. I was living in USA for 11 months at that point we didn't think in visas and nothing. So we didn't save a lot things as an evidence. My fiancé has 3 kids, i have pictures with them, and one with my fiance, his son and me. However my fiancé has contact with my parents (they talk by Whatsapp) but he didn't come yet to Spain, so we don't have pictures with my family and friends. I am not sure if the pictures with his kids are important in our case, because i was my fiancé Au pair at the begining. It is how we met, and started our relation. He is planing to come to Spain in Spring Break for a few days. He is not sure, he need to plan it good. We want to apply in February, but we are not sure if we should wait for our meet in Spain, and submit afer that.

We travelled together in New years. We went to Toronto. So we have evidences for 1 year.

Should we put all together in a folder? I will do a copy of our tickets and boarding pass.  Is it the Spain consulate easy?

  10. Hi everyone,

I don't know if it is ok this question in VJ forum. But i need some help, so if someone knows something i will be thankfull.

It is something about the kids. To introduce to the kids they may be dating 6 months. They didn't say nothing about after the decree. We were dating for 13 months.

The paperworks say this exactly : Persons with whom Conservator Has Dating Relationship
IT IS ORDERED that each conservator is prohibited from introducing the
children to a person with whom the conservator has a dating relationship until such
conservator has been dating that person for at least 6 months.

It's really hard to understand if the final divorce decree as signed by a judge from the court system has been obtained by the OP's fiance or not.   I think it's a language barrier,

@CinBr I think it would be best if you find out from your fiance if they have the final divorce decree in their hands yet or not.  You need it regardless of when things happened.  The mediation was so that he and his ex could agree to the terms of the divorce.  It still needs to be signed by a judge to be legal.  After that you two must follow the terms of the divorce if there is something about the children in there. You may want to have him ask if you need to have been dating for 6 months AFTER the final divorce decree or not since you mentioned that may be an issue.  It may or may not matter if you were dating before he was officially divorced.

You are correct. The clock starts at filing not signature. Sorry about the confusion.

Texas requires a minimum 60 day waiting period before any divorce can be finalized. The 60 day period begins to run from the time the Original Petition for Divorce is actually filed with the court. In other words, the shortest time it will take to finalize a divorced in Texas is 61 days

Yes, he filed in July  so he had to wait until September to continue with the process. However, he got the divorce in December. So, he had to wait 30 days to get married. But we will apply in February.

  14. Just now, John & Rose said:

Re read the thread. It was granted on December 19. In Texas it is not final until 60 days after the decree is signed. This is in case they change their mind. It was signed in December so it is not final until February.

The 60 days it is when you go the first time to the courts. He went in July but he didn't sign the divorce until December. It was hard get agreements about all.

If B-2 visa is denied cause you didn't show enough ties to return to your country that shouldn't affect your K1 application. If they asked you specifically if you had a bf in the US (or if you were dating anyone here) and you said no then that's lying and that could cause a problem. But if that's not the case you were honest and you have nothing to worry about.

Other thing, I remember. In the part usa contact I put my fiance, they ask who he is a soad friend because it was another option. I could put others, but others what that means.

So, I said: "I want to visit the family I was living with as an Au Pair. They invite me. Also I want to travel with some friends. Which is true I have friends there. But in the interview they didn't ask me about boyfriends. They ask me about my profesion and why I want to go with another visa. Also they asked where I will live I said with the family. He is the family. The address didn't change.

You will be fine. You were honest. It will not hurt your chances at getting a K1.

However, the B2 denial may affect your future ESTA abilities.

I know... i am not trying get the ESTA. For this reason we are traveling other countries to meet each other haha. I don't want to mess up more things. I am so nervous and we didn't start yet. I think it is going to be a hard year. 🤒

They didn't ask if i was dating noone in the interview. They asked me about my job (i didn't have one) and about my intentions. In the DS-160 form i don't remember if they ask if you have a boyfriend.

  18. Hi everyone,

Today I have many questions. As I said in another publication, we are preparing to send the I-129F.

In October I apply for a B-2 tourist visa. Obviously I was rejected.  The reason was that I did not show links with my country, I could go with the ESTA because I am from Spain. The reason why I tried to get the B-2 was because I wanted to have more than 3 months, around 5 months that I put in the DS-160. I was an Au Pair. My boyfriend is the father of the children. We were dating for 13 months. When I applied for B-2 I was still married. He got his divorce a month ago. In the b-2 I said that I wanted to travel and visit. I told him I wanted to visit the family (which included my boyfriend and his children) and travel with my friends. I did not say he was my boyfriend. But I said that I would stay at his house and also put him as a contact in the USA. UU The problem? I did not say the word boyfriend, for a reason, he was still married. I did not say I'm in a relationship . Could I do that and affect k-1? I'm very worried about that.

Honestly, I did not know the impact of that, when I applied I did not read the difficulty of getting the b-2 especially when I can travel with the ESTA. Could you think I did not tell the truth? I said I want to visit him, but I did not say the word boyfriend. I told the family and their contact and address. We have evidence that we were in a relationship since December 2017.
