My husband and I are on NVC stage. I sent all document last month January 28th and now, I decided to expedite our case due to medical reasons. How long do they typically respond? I was told I will get a response after a week. Is it true? Thanks!
 
This is my visa journey if this helps:
 
Oct 15, 2018 - PD
June 12, 2019 - Upgraded to CR1
Sept 2019 - RFE sent
Nov 14, 2019 - USCIS approval
Nov 27, 2019 - NVC received our case
Jan 1, 2020 - WL, paid fees
Jan 28, 2020 - AOS and IV package sent
2/7/2020 - send NVC expedite.. waiting for approval

Our expedite request was approved Feb 27. We already schedule our interview on March 17 at US Embassy Manila. I will update my status once we are done. 

I called them and its like an hour wait before I was able to talk to someone. 

Feel bad posting this considering the wait others have had...
Our initial document submission was on January 10th and we got the DQ notice today.

First off if you are not willing to join up and serve even as a conscientious objector then why did you decide for U.S. Citizenship, and why are you here? 
 
Also you can still get called up and serve if there is a big war. Just because you have no military training doesn't affect that.

I cannot agree more that F2A to IR1 threads are hard to find and mostly inactive, which is why I came back here to post my approval news. Good luck to you with Naturalization and the subsequent immigration of your wife. This journey is long, but it has a fulfilling end. We will get there. God bless ☺️

anybody in this group has upgraded their i130  from F2A after naturalization?
how long it will take to get Approval after upgrading?

I got lucky on my 2nd attempt. The test itself is very intimidating and new plus its computerized which many pinoys are not used to. Once I click the next button, thats it and gone. 

From what I know I dont think so but be prepared about your paper documents and stuff. I'll do the same thing too. I filed mine on Sept 11 and Im planning to fly to Philippines around April. 

Also save all your travel documents that includes boarding passes or ticket or any proof you travelled outside US.
