  1. I want to let you all knows that I have collected my visa.. I want to use this opportunity to thank you all that contributed both positive and negative on my visa struggles.

I want to tell others that they shouldn't give up on the struggle.. if you go through my stories you will know that since I can achieve this you can also achieve it. My appreciation goes to visa journey platform, they are really helpful. kudos to the management of visa journey.. their platform really gave me hope and also make my dream come through..

    God bless you all

  2. oga stop putting panic on people, and stop making it looks like Nigeria is a bad country.. if they will issue you a visa they will no matter any country you come from their process is the same. No country is superior than any country when it comes to Immigrant visa.

Within the last couple years, the FBI has arrested a number of people involved in Nigerian Marriage Scams in the US.  Nigerian cases get a lot of scrutiny. The US consulate knows exactly what to look for in these misrepresentation cases. No visitation within the last several years is a big problem, imho.

  3. Don't let anyone put fear on you, once your documents is ok there is nothing happening in fraud unit. If they asked you to get a co sponsor documents get them and send it forward it to them as they might advice. After they done their process and investigation they might invite you for a second interview with your wife at the fraud unit Dept. Your wife will be interviewed on phone. do not allow anyone to scare you off fraud unit. I have been there for my second interview at the fraud unit for (FPU). I can tell you that second interview is far better than first interview. Just do what they asked you to do by getting your Co sponsor and wait for their next response.

      Thank you God bless

Please I found your story very interesting.. Embassy Lagos also called me for second interview at the FPU Dept. Please what kind of questions did they ask at that department. My spouse will be contacted on phone the same time with me.. please let me have some idea of what they ask..

    Thanks

  5. I'm facing the same problem, my wife is making enough money but after my interview they placed me on AP asked me to get a joint sponsor documents.. after a week of my AP I finally got all the joint sponsor documents they needed.

A month later of my interview they mailed me for a second interview with my spouse that my spouse will be interviewed on phone while I will be interviewed physically..

Honestly? No, I don’t think you do. You had a previous K1 denial because they didn’t believe your relationship was bona fide (=real). You have not addressed the issues - not seeing your wife for 4 years is not normal and is problematic. The reasons (Covid, election) are not valid reasons and are odd to say the least.

Ir1 don't have anything to do with k1. I have seen people that their k1 was denied and got their visa in cr1 or Ir1..

Moreover the CO didn't asked me anything about my k1. He was specifically interviewing me on my Ir1. After the interview he said my wife income is not enough to bring me over that she should send a joint sponsor. Your advice doesn't sound hope at all

  7. Hello house

My interview was on the 13th of April 2023.

On my interview the CO asked me when last did we see each other? I told him 2019, he asked why haven't she visits me since then.. I told him due to covid and she was planning to come last year I told her not to come because of the Election coming up soon. He asked me about our chat conversation.. I gave him thousands of chats he looked at them and said he wants the ones of 2022 2023 he was going through them one by one.. later he said I should tell me my to submit a joint sponsor and she should send it directly to them through the DHL including 2022 tax return.. he gave me a white paper and tick the joint sponsor part.. at the bottom he ticked Administrative process.

5 days after my interview my wife got the joint sponsor with all the other documents they requested and sent them to the Embassy through the DHL.. due to the holidays in Nigeria they are yet to receive the package from the DHL.. I know they must surely recieve it after the holidays.. please I want to know if I still have a good case or not

  8. Hello house I need your contribution please.. my wife filed cr1 since 2019 and we got married in May 2019, uptil now still waiting for my interview date. The last update they sent to me was on the 7th of December 2021. It said "documentary qualified" they sent me email and said my documents have been approved that I should wait for my interview date.. I have been waiting for my interview date since then..

At this point what should I do ?

    Can anyone help me out

  9. There is a ban on Nigerians doesn't mean that you won't be issue a cr1 visa.. there is a waiver on that process. Do not lose any hope and don't allow anyone to kill your spirit.. good luck and don't give up !

Read this.. someone that went for his cr1 interview before the convid 19:

On the 5th of March,2020, I got a mail that my passport was at the DHL office in V.I, I panicked because, it was too quick and i started asking my VJ family if all was well..lol. Checked on ceac website and realised it's been issued.

On the 6th of March,2020, I picked up my passport and saw on the passport, that the Presidential proclamation 9983, was waived.

Thank you all, I appreciate. 😘 ( I warned you all, an epistle emerging🤣🤣🤣)

  10. Can anyone help me to forward me uscis email address or phone number I want to email them to know the status of my case since the embassy said my case is out of their jurisdiction that I should email uscis to know status of my case.

    thanks

  11. Mr Aaron 2020 you sound as if you are the judge please Im not sharing my problem for you to start judging me I'm sure everyone in this forum has his /her own experience too. We are only sharing ideas and suggestions so please don't come here and judge me because you're not the consular that interviewed me nor the uscis to tell me my final say..thank you

  12. going for CR1 is not the problem at list before going for cr1 the USCIS should give me the final decision at list read my reply from the Embassy.. My fiance can't just apply for cr1 without hearing the final outcome from the uscis.. The embassy said is not in their jurisdiction anylonger that I can mail the uscis for update and my case status keeps updating

  13. This was my last reply from the Embassy...

    Thank you for your email.

According to our records the administrative review of your case is complete and your case has been sent back to National Visa Center (NVC) with a recommendation that it be revoked because you failed to convince the Consular officer that you have a bona fide relationship with the petitioner.  The case is in the process of being returned to USCIS for review.  However, this is not something that can be done here in Lagos at this time.  The U.S. Consulate General no longer has jurisdiction over a case once it has been recommended for revocation.  As such, you should contact NVC at http://nvc.state.gov/ask or USCIS for further information about your case. Contact information for USCIS can be found at www.uscis.gov .  Please note that it can take several months for a case to be sent from Lagos and processed by NVC and USCIS in the United States.

  14. 1I don't have any criminal record nor any misrepresentation in any of my documents all my documents are true and intact.. I have my late wife documents both death and other documents intact that was sent to me by US govt when my wife passed away. My B1 documents still remain intact

  15. Thanks brother for your idea I don't know what will be the reason. Both families approved it age different I'm 47 and she's 59 both the same religion.. But the consular was only asking me questions about my previous marriage (my late wife). My previous marriage my late wife was 60 years while I was 30 years then (2004).If the k1 has expired or denied at list they should let me know than to be killing me softly..

If the k1 has expired or denied at list they should let me know than to be killing me softly.. they suppose to focus on my present relationship not focus on a dead person. My late wife died over 10 years ago (2008) and my new fiance we known each other since 2012 but we fell in love in 2016 and we got engaged in 2017.. Even with there administrative process our relationships is waxing stronger..

  16. Happy new year house ! I have been on AP since August on k1 visa.. They said my case must undergo additional administrative process that after 90 days if I don't hear from the Embassy I should mail to request for my case update.. After 90 days I emailed the Embassy which they replied me and said my case have been revoked and send back to uscis for father review.. Please I need an advice at this stage.. I have married an American before but she died when my filling was on the process. My visa was revoked then. I have gone for B1/B2 interview before which I was denied visa.. This is my second fiance she have visited me twice in my country Nigeria. Whatever you want to know feel free to ask and whatever idea you want to share also feel free to share.. Thanks

  17. I wrote the Embassy after 90 days as they said I should contact them, they replied me they said my case is out of their jurisdiction it has been return back to uscis for review.. So going for CR-1 without hearing their final conclusion could give me more issues. So I'm waiting to hear my final say from them since I'm still under administrative process and my case status still updating..
