  1. Went to the doctors today. I've been having trouble swallowing food. I have to wash it down with water. It only took me 3 months to actually look in my mouth to see how big my tonsils are. Well now I have to go to the ENT to get them out.
  2. ~~Moved to the Canada forum, from IR1/CR1 P&P- as other Canadians in this situation may be of help.~~

  5. Haha, I have leopard tortoise and a sulcata. They need to stay above 80 at all times never below. But since both of these tortoises get big 50-75 for the leopard tortoise and 100+ for the sulcata. They cannot be indoor pets, so this way they can be out all summer and all winter. They can come and go into the house and get warmed up as they please.
  6. ~~moved to Working and Traveling, from AOs From K1/K3- as the OP's spouse is waiting on ROC~~
  7. ~~Thread moved to Moving Here and Your New Life, from Bringing Family of USC- as similar threads are discussed here.~~
  8. Happy Anniversary @DaveAndAnastasia I've been busy all week building a heated night box for the tortoises. Optimus Prime is now 3lbs and will be ready to be outside full time this summer. This is what I have done so far. The floor, walls and roof are all insulated with 1 1/2 foam insulation. Caulking all joints to prevent heat loss in the winter. I still need to finish the front wall with doors. This is 4x8 and will then be divided into 4x4 spaces. One side for each tortoise. Then they will have divided yards too. I will still need to plant some shade plants for them as this is a really sunny location.

  14. She will most likely take the college's entrance test. Since you said community college, she will have more wiggle room on when to apply. She could apply to college when she gets here and that is what I would recommend. I would not have her go back to highschool after she completed/graduated. Wait to enrol her until you get her here, she may be able to use your address history/residency as her own and pay in state tuition this way.

  18. It does not matter. It is 3 yrs of PR and 3yrs of marriage but that marriage has to be ongoing/intact. As you are no longer married you have no choice but to file under the 5 year rule.
  19. ~~Moved to K3 Process and Procedure, from Bringing Family of USC- the OP is asking about filing a K3 along with the already started I-130~~
  20. Oh man that sucks ROC took so long and you didn't know you could still file for her the N400. Definitely get started ASAP. Depending on where you live it could be faster. Fingers crossed for you. BTW if he is a college student by the time he files he can apply for a fee waiver. My older two boys were over 18 when I naturalized so they had to do it on their own. Both were approved for the fee waiver and didn't have to pay a cent for it. They worked part time while going to school.
  21. Could get lucky and squeeze by. If not you can't get started until he is 18 and meets the 5 yr as a PR.
