  1. Congrats!! What do you mean LIN filing though -- N400s go to the NBC. 🤔
  2. No one knows where exactly USCIS puts your file when you move (or reschedule your interview, etc). Though you can be certain that the backlog present in your new local office will determine the duration. The news is a definitely welcome one but hard to believe what they say when processing times are going up and up more 🤣 I do hope they make it happen though.
  3. Bottom left of the letter I believe. Also your N400 processing time depends on your local office not the main center. The main center does some background check, etc and puts your file in a big pile waiting for interview slot at your local office, based on what I have read on this forum.
  4. That's one of their standard updates unfortunately, means jack squat in terms of active reviewing lol
  5. Because they make money off of it. Sure it's a waste of time and resources but I bet they care about $ over anything else.
  6. Lol yeah that's a nice perk. Thank you 🙏 I wish you a speedy resolution too!
  7. Card received in the mail today. Also received the approval notice letter. 100% done with I-751 for me, now eye on the big prize N-400. I sincerely wish best of luck and speedy adjudication to others still waiting. 🤞
  8. No. They seem to be picking interviewees randomly. I am sure it also depends on the IO reviewing your case. Your evidence looks pretty good!
  9. Congrats! Now kindly send some of your luck our way since you are done with this process 🤣
  10. I really hope so. Especially for the sake of those who have been waiting for over a year.
  11. This too is a neck breaking speed lol for a field office with 13.5 months to complete 80% of the cases. Congrats!!
  12. Some people have mentioned in other threads that this is for 'faster processing'. Possibly to reduce workload on other service centers, then?
  13. From what I have read, NBC does background checks on applications then forwards to local offices. So they do not technically process the cases with a goal of adjudication, hence no processing time. Maybe things have changed now? I see plenty of I-751s re-routed to NBC for faster processing.
  14. If you plan on becoming a US citizen sooner or later, make it sooner is all I can say. Good luck either way!!
  15. It varies from case to case. For some, N400 has helped push I751 along. For others, no such thing as I751 was resolved before N400 reached the local office (like myself, see my signature). For some, N400 file has reached the local office but I751 hasn't so their case could not be resolved for weeks to months.
  16. While you'll likely need an extension, have you already applied or considered applying for citizenship? People are split on whether or not N400 application will 'push' your I751 to move forward. Though what a lot of people, mostly April-June 2020 filers, have been doing is file for FOIA which somehow has been helpful in 'unstucking' a case. Two years is a long time but there are some who have waited even longer. Not saying the wait is worth it because it's not and totally sucks, but there are others who share the misery. I hope your case moves ahead soon!!
  17. Congrats!! Processing times for Kansas City: 80% of cases are completed within 13.5 months Yours took 5 months to schedule interview. Hoping this trend continues for most and all of us all across the US 🤞
  18. Sorry for too many posts. Yet another update later today, it says "Card Was Mailed To Me" on 05-12-2022.
  19. Nothing you can do but wait my friend. USCIS does what USCIS does when USCIS feel like doing it.
  20. I filed in April, so 2 months after you two. My estimated time left is 12 months... I think this is just a useless countdown to be honest. Many people have gotten interview notices already within a few months of application despite their local offices taking more than a year to adjudicate. Hopefully that's the case for us all. I do not want to wait 10 or 12 or even 8 months lol.
  21. Thank you. Yeah, that's the big prize haha. I hope yours get resolved soon too as I know you are also April filer for N400. 🤞
  22. What a bunch of nonsense. Their system approved you half a year ago and printed a 10 year card but they cannot find a record of it!? That's insane. Sorry to hear this and hope it gets resolved soon.
