    Hi girl
NO IDEA. I have yet to get ours changed.
not really in a haste to do it since husband is busy M-F and SSA is only open M-F.

Am not overly worried about it tho. The authorization to work IS the green card and so long as one has it, the SSN is fine.
Once you show people the green card, I haven't really had issues with the SSN lately.

If you do get yours changed, please let me know!

When i go to ssa office i bring gc, marriage contract and passport.. makes  me mad coz they don't know what they doing 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ and said wait 4 weeks.. until 4 weeks come 8 weeks and nothing happen until i called and said i need to check my alien status and why i'm going to check my alien status i already have my green card 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ and they wan't me to go back to bring my paper's to prove it but i already show it to them.. 2 months waiting for nothing.. Until i go other ssa office my god only green card and marriage contract and told me wait 5 to 10 days and no question at all.. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Hello. I submitted my AOS and EAD last 1/29/2019 but havent received any updates from the USCIS yet.

My mail was succesfully delivered but I think the USCIS has not opened my mail yet. Is this normal? I am not receiving any notice of action from the USCIS Chicago. Thank you.

mine took 3 weeks.. before we receive notice from phone.. then few days hard copy.. so maybe this week u will receive..

congrats!! New Orleans is a fun city, but boy is the USCIS slow here?! URGH! hahaha
I actually scheduled an infopass, cuz believe it or not there's always appointments available, unlike Houston or other busy cities.
It probably won't help me and they'll say what's in the website, but hoping to at least know whatever piece of extra information they give me.
kinda frustrating cuz I read like three pages back in this thread and everyone seem to have their interviews scheduled here already.

I did not believe mine that took only 5 days .. i was expecting maybe 2 months or more lol..anyway u will have soon.. patient patient ugh

Greer is actually one of the faster offices. SO I think you might have a few weeks to like 2 months?
    Hopefully it soon!

Combo card has nothing to do with your local office or the Green card.
Your timeline is wayy overdue on EAD tho. It's past the 6.5 month mark. So I suggest maybe calling USCIS to see what's up?

they said that if u have rfe ur combo card will get hold also.. that make me sick ugh... so we plan to wait this week then we will call...

    ty for the info

Hey, you're not the only one. They received my RFE response on Jan 2, 2019.

I called USCIS earlier today, because my EAD is about 19 days over the 6month processing time, and the agent said she pushed it forward and created an inquiry about it. She said I was gonna receive a reply through text or email within 15-30 days... soooo waiting again.

Then I asked about the RFE response and she said they would reply by Mar 1. soooooo more waiting!

Sooooo bored waiting to look get employed. hahahaha

    My case details:

Filed July 9, NOA received Jul 11.

AP approved last November, everything else still pending.

RFE notice December, sent in the required documents by the end of the month

RFE response received by USCIS Jan2.

Received an RFE this week. They’re asking for the complete Federal income tax return submitted to the IRS for the previous year... is this normal? Also, does this mean my EAD hasn’t been touched yet? 😕

rfe here also but still waiting to the letter.. ugh.. it said they send it nov.28... 😥 idk what they want... how many days u recieve the letter? and also i heard if we have rfe our combo card will be affected... that sucks...😱

Hi Everyone, having my green card interview today. Everything was great. The interviewer doesn't ask lots of question, except the "have you" questions in I-485 form. Aside from that, the only questions that she asked is everything that was stated in the form. Such as, the address, name, birthday, parents name and phone number. There was one tricky question asked, where did you work now? That's all question asked. Aside from that, she only asked to see pictures, and anything that we have together. We gave health, life and dental insurance, phone bills and 401K (he put me as the beneficiary).

After the interview, the status changed to "Interview was completed and my case must be reviewed". 3 hours after that, it change to "New card is being produced". Btw, the officer didn't say that we got approved. She only said that the green card that I will receive is only two years conditional green card and I need to file for Removing of Conditions 90 days before my conditional green card expired. She gave us a paper as attached below. That is how we knew that we got approved :)

Good luck for those who will be having interview soon. And hopefully everyone in July AOS filers will get an interview date or the combo card soon! ❤️❤️❤️
