LIN filler here, still no update about biometrics letter, sent them request about case out of the timeline or (whatever its called)))) got email after 1 month saying i should be patient :))))
also traveled with expired GC and ext letter, Turkish airlines rep was super knowledgeable on the way back through IST, had no issues.
Entered with Global entry - smooth like a butter, it didn't give me paper and sent me to the officer, but officer was super sweet and stamped and let me even ahead other people because i had expired GC and ext letter + Global Entry :)) tip: give all the documents together to the officers, i saw they really like when people are prepared and dont waste their time.
Good luck to us all

Well, finally saw Uscis has cashed my check. I'm one of the 11/14 delivered dates! Whew hoo! Tried to call USCIS to get case number, no way to get through to a rep!
when you call straight say schedule an info pass appointment and it takes you directly to the rep

I sent a WU money order, they cashed mine last Dec 31st. I got my case number today when I called. Status says my case was received Nov 13th but it was delivered Nov 14th at the AZ lockbox. Try to double check your money serial number. If it’s from Western Union, should be on the top right corner or the 11 digit number above the barcode.
Hope this helps.
i have been checking the status of the money order since the day it was delivered :))) thats why now i am not receiving the same message as "money order has not been cashed" thats why i wanteed to know iif someon e else thhat used mooney order had the same issue Thank you for the suggestion tho 👋

Hello all.
so i am confused as i don't understand what is going on.
my package was delivered on 13th f Nov at 9:42 at Arizona lock box, since then i have no update.
i submitted money order as a payment, till 12/31/2020 checking status was showing not cashed since 31st it says : "No information is found on the Money Order. Please validate the serial number and amount you are entering is correct." or This item requires further research; please fill out this form for submission. NOTE: If the money order has not been cashed, submitting the form will initiate a request for replacement.
Has anyone sent payment with money order?
i called USCIS second time today, they have no information about my package, gave me lockbox email but said they are too busy and mostly dont answer emails. have no idea what to do if i get no update till 02/07/2021 that's when GC expires.
if anyone has any info would appreciate.
Thank you

Ours was left by UPS in the USCIS mail room on November 13 and we are still waiting... I’ve seen in this thread that other filers who sent theirs around the same date have recently had their card charged/cash checked. Hopefully before Christmas 🤷🏼♂️
I am with you on that date, package was delivered on 13th 09:41am by UPS, money order still not cashed, really hoping it will happen tmrw, but i will be also calling them tmrw to speak with USCIS if they can give me any info

Are you applying for I-751? Yes 2 passport sized photos are needed. The lawyer asked me to attach it in the I-751 application. I just labeled it with my A#
Photos are only needed if you are filling from overseas and spouse is military
If you are filing from outside of the United States because you, your spouse or your stepparent is residing outside of the United States on U.S. military or government orders:
- Two passport-style photographs for each petitioner and dependent, regardless of age;
- Two completed Form FD- 258 Fingerprint Cards for each petitioner and dependent 14 to 79 years of age;
- A copy of current military or government orders.

Hello
I am starting this topic as i want to hear from immigrants that already got US citizenship, can you tell me if it has been Worth it Getting Second Passport?
I know all about advantages of having US citizenship(no need to tell me about Voting and running for the office, already work for state government with my GC)
I want to hear opinions having US citizenship and Taxes(investments, Real estate out of USA... etc), reporting Private property, Foreign income...
I have pretty good passport and am allowed to have dual citizenship.
Thanks

Oh no, please dont get this "entitled" attitude of military spouse. Especially since you just married the soldier.. trust me. It's not pretty.
Honestly I never heard of top security job for green card holder. Someone lied to you. Never heard of AOS expedited either. Visa - yes, there is expedite for deployment. Just be grateful you have your ead already.
Oh I am so entitled to be a military spouse 🤐 I was asking for information and I just got bunch of preachers in here, teaching for what to be grateful for.
-
There are ways to expedite. Do more research. Just because I got EAD in 75 days doesn't mean u can't expedite for the interview. I am also a wife of a US military member and I was told in USCIS office I can expedite even green card as my husband gets deployed in war zones. And after getting green card it's even possible to get US citizenship faster than 5 years. I already regret making this topic as everyone gets upset and mean coz some people got things faster😂 people you are mean 😁

Not being mean. Just being real.
Real bummer it took you 455 days. If you don't have any info about expediting, I will continue researching more info to help others not to have it go all the way up to 500 days 😉

You won’t get a TS without being a US citizen.
My question was not about TS. So...

This sort of situation is only handled through a direct communication with your Senator's office. Yes it does occur and happen, know someone who had to move to another country for a job and senator office helped get the interview pulled forward.
I can't imagine this forum without your answers 😂 thank you. I will see if they will be willing to help

Are you sure green-card holder being considered for top security clearance? I had lower clearance before and I was required to have US Citizen. Just curious, have not looked for a job for so long.
I was thinking the same. But the job I was offered isn't for federal government. It's a private sector.
-
Hi. I have a job offer which requires obtaining top security clearance and it isn't possible,if I don't have at least green card. That's the reason.
-
Hello
I am looking for an information if anyone has done expediting of green card interview. It's almost been 75 days since they got my case but nothing has changed on my I485, I have got my EAD and AP. Trying to get info if there is a chance to expedite green card interview and get it done asap.
Thanks

Ugh, where I live all non-citizens have to go to a single DMV location, and it's a clusterfudge. Immigrant friendly state, clearly. I drive by all the other DMVs longily, with the four cars parked outside. Maybe I'll try them again and see if the DMV person just doesn't know better!
Wow. Hmm. Dunno what state that is. But Colorado has been super nice to me. Can't complain 😂 wish you all the luck though

Oh man, sorry about the grey hairs, though I hear it adds character
That's not as bad as I was expecting - I was expecting four more weeks of just waiting. If they mail it to me by early next week I'll feel great about it. A quick 6-hour trip to the DMV and I'll be set. Thanks for the outline!
I just got back from DMV and I know how u feel. Was lucky enough to be done in 45 minutes. Hehe😂 you'll be good. They will mail it to you probably this week. 😋

Hi. So I had very weird case timeline so got card approved on 23rd. It took more then a week to get it mailed. I got notification we mailed your card on friday, before, labour day weekend and it was day off, after that on Tuesday, I got another notification that my card was picked by the USPS, so it wasn't mailed on Friday. it was sent on Tuesday and it took 2 days to get delivered. I was freaking out and probably got bunch of gray hair now 😂 but as u have nothing to worry just go with the flow. I don't think anyone knows how USCIS works. Coz no logic applies on them 😂
-
Congrats you all. Notifications come late most of the time. I got mine on labour day weekend and I thought the same.
