Hey Guys, just wanted to let some of you know a few things about my NOA2. My NOA 1 was Nov 8th on the old website and Nov 10th on the new website. On June 11th, it was updated on the old website also got a notification from case tracker app that my case was approved. Yesterday I received the NOA2 in the mail and it says the notice date is June 9th (which was a Saturday). So my case must have been approved Friday or earlier and wasn't updated on the website until Monday morning and it was early in the morning when I got the case tracker notification. So, since there were not many updates this Friday, some of you guys might be getting updates on Monday. I remember someone got an approval very early in the morning on Monday even before USCIS office was open. So, hang in there. Some of you might be getting the notices soon.

I just got the NVC NUMBER AND THE INVOICE ID NUMBER   

Hey Everyone, I finally got approved. I checked the old website like 10 minutes ago and also got a notification from case tracker. My NOA1 was November 8th old website and Nov 10th on New website. I am like shaking and excited. All the best everyone... I will update my timeline now.

Not knowing what Embassy you are processing through prevents us from responding to many of your questions. If you look at the profile others here, they have a flag for their country so it makes it easy for us to reply.
 
So if you could help yourself out and complete your profile sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question.
 
Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Next you'll want to go up to the blue ribbon at the top of the page and select "portals" and search for your country and read what is there for the process. Also, there will be a list of other members if you want to befriend someone and work together on your visas.
 
Next go to the blue ribbon and select "forums". Scroll about 3/4 way down the page till you find the sub-forums section. Find your country and select it and that is where you need to hang out to ask questions. You see everyone here is working on their process and really don't know much about yours.

I have read that after the case is approved we can start calling NVC after 2 weeks or so and get some number from them to get an interview appointment at the embassy? is this how it goes? Also, our embassy in Mumbai, India (they no longer do these interviews at the New Delhi consulate). Anyone with experience with the Mumbai consulate. Thank you very much. The new website should update tomorrow morning.
 
For now, you will wait about 2 weeks and then call the NVC and ask if they have your case number.  Every country is slightly different what comes next, so look up the US embassy in your country and they should have instructions online..

In generally it's:
 
1) Get Case Number from NVC (approx 2 weeks from NOA2)
2) Schedule Medical Exam & Get results
3) Make sure the embassy has your case  (about a month from NOA2, sometimes earlier...)
4) Schedule interview
 
Of course there is a bunch of documents you'll want to get together, check the instructions for your embassy. Your benificiary should also be getting a call from the embassy about this as well.

Omg guys. My case tracker popped up we are approved when I was trying to charge my phone in the car. Our Noa 1 was for November 16th. Hang in there guys we were feeling so depressed last night but this gives me so much hope for everyone else seeing this approval. Congratulations to everyone who has been approved so far.
