  6. Congratulations, so applying for citizenship it does move the I-751 process.
  7. Hi , thanks for your assistant, yes I know it wasn’t six month .. so we good regarding the clock .. however what confuse me is this question : Part 1 - B. ( living with the spouse for three years ) the wife when travelled for 5 months she didn’t abandon the marriage or the living status she just travelled to see family and covid hit then everything shutdown . base on that question in Part 1 - B- we shouldn’t minus that 5 months from the 3 years requirement ?! thanks again in advance
  8. Question : regarding the 3 years ( minus 90 days ) if the petitioner travelled outside the United States for 5 months in one trip (due to covid airports all over the world closed) is these 5 month will disrupt the 3 years requirement ? does she have to wait more 5 months to apply ? Conditional Green card granted on 11/26/2019 early filing calculator shows : 08/27/2022 ( but didn't apply yet) travelled abroad from Feb -05- 2020 to July - 02- 2020 ( almost 5 months) Thank you in advance .
  9. Question: my wife, Conditional green card granted on 11/26/2019, had to travel overseas in Jan 2020, then covid hit and all airports and everything shut down, she was able to come back to the US July 1st or 2nd, (technically 5 months) based on the Earliest Accepted Filing Date for the citizenship is 08/28/2022, is these five months have to waited out to apply or its okay to apply now? Thank you in advance
  10. Mmm so my wife travelled before covid in few days then everything closed she stayed outside the country for almost 5 months .. does that mean she have to wait 5 months ?
  11. Well said ! You nailed it ! Unfortunately if someone get sent back to country of origin from a third country , due to Airline or Airport employees ignorance , first it has huge emotional and financial impact . Second you have to mention it on US citizenship application / Interview which will delay the process significantly .
  12. I really surprised when I called Amsterdam Embassy in Washington D.C. and their answer was No extension letter can be considered. Expired card is not valid , will send her back ! and i challenged her with alot of questions and why the US immigration extension letter wouldn’t be considered valid since its extending the validity of the expiry date on the card ?! Embassy employee insisted they won’t consider the extension letter !
  13. I wouldn’t be worried from the airlines but what Make worried when an embassy or immigration visa officer in Turkey or Amsterdam would deny entry cause the card expired and they don’t consider extension letter !
  14. It will expire in Sep 2023 .. Before Booking flight for my wife to fly to Turkey through Amsterdam connection flight .. so I called Netherlands Embassy in DC to verify if the 24 month extension letter will suffice with expired Green Card .. the Embassy lady insisted that they will send her back since the card expired and they will not consider any extension letter !! So we cancelled the trip ! Thats Netherlands a modern European country!!!
