This is exactly how I feel. 6-7months seems such a little time compared to the rest of our lives? Don't think we can really blame USCIS they're just doing their jobs. We can say we'd do things faster ourselves personally but we don't know what regulations and rules they have to go through, so lets give them the benefit of the doubt and feel grateful that we've woken up another day not just being closer to the one we love but to make differences in a lot of other people's lives! 
 
Also... just been doing mini scans around my WAC number (Case received date 30th Oct). Seen a rain of approvals from last week 26th/27th that weren't there over the weekend and a few RFEs. So I'm thinking that their systems are up and running and we should see a storm of approvals this week!

A couple of RFEs around my number from today so there is movement quite early x Hopefully full scan updates will come later with promising numbers!

You know what guys? I have decided to enjoy this process. Yes, it sounds weird but the truth is that we’ll be soon moving to another country. We’ll be leaving family, friends, jobs, routines, favorite places and all behind! Why not enjoy all that while we can? I know that we all want to be with our significant other as soon as possible and that we want to get married and start a family; but the truth is that we’ll also start missing our previous lifes, which is totally normal. Changes are great but also difficult and there’s ab adaptation period to everything. So I have decided to make the most out of this wait! So instead of having a memory of a painful wait I want to have a memory of me enjoying all my love ones here and my favorite places and stuff I like and take care of me! I’m getting married and I want to look and feel great on my wedding day! So during this long wait I’ll be eating healthier, exercising and taking good care of my skin: let’s pamper ourselves! ❤️ We need to do this for us and for our significant other! 👏🏼👏🏼💕 but please don’t take me wrong USCIS, this doesn’t mean you can keep taking your sweet time! Please help us a little! 🙃 I pray for all of us! 🙏🏼💕🌸

I asked the same thing to my medical (I just called and asked them) They had different size on the website so it wasn't passport photos.
 
In addition to that in Japan the general background can be anything, so I accidentally had blue. and asked them if its ok, they said it doesn't matter, as long as the size is correct.

I've been silently watching this thread as recently my patience has been waning and as much as talking to my fiancé is great. It's kind of a comforting feeling to know we've got company on this draining experience!
 
Got an official filing date of 30th Oct, cannot wait to see if we get our approval this week or not as I can see some cases after mine being touched!
 
I've known my better half for 10yrs and we've been together for 5yrs and engaged for 3yrs... probably started wedding planning a good 4yrs ago too - we already have plans in place... risky I know but *Was too over excited and didn't realise this would be this long of a process*.
