I can't wait for USCIS to update their processing time for K1 as of January 31, 2018, because they did touch October and November. If it says September, it would be a lie and manipulation on their end to prevent congressional inquiries. 😂😂😂

Sept 1 filer, informed delivery for today, I haven’t received this letter yet, but you can see approved showing through the window!!!

VISA APPROVED!!!!!! I'm soooooooo happy right now! Now we can start the next chapter of our lives. Thank u all for the support. It was indeed a great help through this stressful process. For all of u waiting I say don't give up. The journey is long but well worth the struggle.

I worked late today...so that I can do a midday scan in case there are approvals to be seen by noon  (which is my morning hehe I may go late!)

You don't need a police certificate for the time you lived in the US.  

The poster above is correct- however I'd like to add with a k1 visa you are spending your first year married together and with a cr1 you are apart for your first year as your spouse can not be in the USA

Hi guys! It's 0:32 my time and I am half asleep but my fiancé just called me and guess what? We just got approved! We received NOA2 today in the mail. I didn't expect that at all! They received our case on 1st of september, noa1 6th of september. Got so excited I had to share it straight away with all of you😁 BTW no notification on the app or website. 

NoA1 August 21 NOa2 February 26! We’re super excited!!!! 

Just got our approval notice in the mail  (I'm glad I called on Thursday and found out about the approval so I avoided extra days of anxiety). I've never been happier for a piece of mail in my entire life! Now we move forward

We got approved!! They approved us on Feb 27, and the letter came in the mail today. Aug 18 filer  No update on app or website. Wohoo!!  

The name is K1 stats page, go to menu - immigration timelines - K1 trends - find a tiny blue option on step 6 called K1 stats page. You can see all embassies and how many cases 😉

Never. Because online updates never happen after people receive their approval. And last time I checked march it still had 2500 cases looking received. For me I don't care exactly if it is completed, if 1 vj member is still waiting I consider it not completed. Because I know they are not the only case waiting. I saw January 2017 filer just got their noa last month for example, or actually yesterday I saw someone who got their noa in about 360 days... so it is never over. But once processing timelines say for example August 1. Then I consider cases before June 1 mostly finished and they are now outliers, who had / needed / or who knows what cases.. 
 
However normally  as long as you can put an inquiry it supposed to be done (which means passing the processing timelines uscis shows) 
 
Addition: I also consider it 99% done when vj k1 approved graph reaches to 80%

Ok so I called USCIS first thing this morning for a status update, let the Tier 1 rep give me her spiel and then politely asked to speak to a Tier 2 officer.  I said that I understood that I was in normal processing times but as it has been 6 months, I’m a bit anxious and would really appreciate having someone look into my case to see if it has been touched at all.  The Tier 1 that I spoke to was not rude but she was not very friendly either.  She said that from what she could see, my case had not been opened at all and that a Tier 2 rep would not be able to tell me any different.  I politely insisted.  I said that I was aware that they have a bit more access to my case and I would just like to see if anything had been done with it.  She said that since I insisted, she would go ahead and transfer me.  I received an estimated call back time of 150 minutes but actually received the call about 30 minutes sooner than that.  The Tier 2 officer I spoke to informed me that there was something missing from my application and that a request for additional evidence had been mailed to me on February 28.  He couldn’t say what was missing but said the letter would state what it was and would have a date that the evidence needed to be sent by.  Of course, this is not the best news I could’ve hoped for but at least I know that our application didn’t get lost at the bottom of the pile.  I am going to go through what we sent to see what we could’ve possibly missed as I thought we were pretty thorough.  The only thing I can think of is that, with our application and as evidence, we sent them copies of our catering and venue contracts as we had originally planned our wedding for February 3, 2018.  Long story short, my fiancé and I had originally planned to settle in the UK hence the original wedding date.  UK spousal visas usually take NO LONGER than 3months!  But, after my mom had a health scare, we changed our plans and decided to settle in the US instead so I could be closer to my family.  We left the wedding plans as they were for a while hoping things would process in time but of course, that didn’t happen.  Lol. How silly and naive I was!  Of course, all of that had to be rescheduled but I wonder if that is what the issue is?  @Naes @NICK & PAULA, any ideas?  Maybe they want to make sure we’re not already married?  I would think they would have access to state marriage records though, but that’s probably just wishful thinking on my part.  Lol.  Either way, I’m anxious to get the RFE letter so that I can see what the issue is and get this part over with already!  Hopefully, it comes sometime next week.

Again, the Tier 1 rep said that there had been no activity on my case and there have been no updates on the website, the app, text, or email.  I received this information after insisting to speak to Tier 2.

I thought it's going to be a volcano eruption with approvals. It's so quiet here.

Hey! You don't need police certificate from the US, they can check it without you giving them these papers, don't stress out and be happy =)
